I got nothing against her doing this as I believe in the free market and people's right to make a profit. Clearly this issue is that she is a grotesque hypocrite. This act of entrepreneurship on her part destroys any and all crediblity she may have once had.

Of course she needs no money from any other source as she makes a very comfortable salary as a congresman.

I would love to know what sort of accountants and/or lawyers she has advising her on how to invest her money. Is she donating it to charty or doing like any other person and using every trick and tax shelter in the book to protect her wealth from the IRS?

My guess would be the latter.

It works the other way around. Social democratic systems only work within a capitalist framework because those systems require the wealth and innovation generated from capitalism to survive.

Not sure if we need more socialism more than we need to structure our current welfare in a far more efficient manner. We already outspend most other nations on many of our public goods. We just have an asinine tendency to spend our public money in a very poor fashion.
