An angry New York man blasted Democratic leaders' response to the growing migrant crisis in the state, saying that New Yorkers can't afford "to pay 3-400,000 people everything for free."

"We can't let them crash the budget. Five percent is already cut. We can't afford to pay three, four hundred thousand people everything for free," he told Fox News reporter Alexis McAdams.

New Yorkers are complaining about the negative impact of suddenly having thousands of immigrants foisted on them.

That seems to be a fair complaint.

But don't forget: some non-immigrant people have long been negatively impacting the quality of life in the Big Apple. Last year a DOZEN people were killed on New York subways. To the best of my knowledge, most or all of the murderers were American-born hoodlums.

Where's the tens of thousands of Jan 6th types heading to the border to put a stop to the flood? Why are there only a handful of protesters (like this story) and not an overwhelming # raising hell in front of AOC and other lawmakers? Why aren't millions of Americans flooding their lawmakers, local, state and federal with demands to put a stop to this, why is it only a handful that bother? Americans aren't doing jackshit about this, we are rolling over and letting our country be taken away from us.

Most of those places are cordoned off anyway so you can't even get real close. Maybe part of the problem is because little of the media are going down there reporting on this stuff, I only know of one guy who does that and goes into Mexico to see and document the whole thing.

Maybe a lot of people are too tied up just trying to stretch their dollars to pay bills and put food on the table. Hopefully a lot of people are calling and writing their congressmen and giving them a piece of their mind, the way the system is SUPPOSED to work. It is hard to get more personally involved these days without being labeled an extremist, a terrorist and a xenophobic hatemonger MAGA threat to be arrested and thrown into the hoosegow for 12 years.
