Yuca is cassava. I learned IN THE FOURTH GRADE -----many years
ago----that thru some sort of laborious process---cassava is transformed
into a flour used to make a kind of flat bread. Flat breads seem to appear---
in a PARALLEL manner to DEVELOPE in all societies.----flat bread is
GLOBAL----a unifying experience----spiritually speaking. No wonder
a spiritual type like AOC wants YUCA in our gardens

I grew up in a north east state-----in the burbs. Everyone did some sort of
veggie growing in the backyard. Every one did tomatoes. which
have "people of color" origin-----but were integrated into WASP lands-----
and ultimately virtually CLAIMED by Italy. No one grew cauliflower.
I have never seen cauliflower in any of the gardens in the Bronx.
I am not even sure how to do cauliflower-------I am guessing that it
is a fall veggie. Italians seem to know the secrets of the FIG

most urban gardens would not WANT staple starches.-------I would not
consider growing potatoes on my fire-escape-----maybe hanging tomatoes.
