I'm not sure who is more dangerous to the democrats....their republican opponents or their own Political brethren.....I have yet to see anything as down and dirty as the way Bernie got treated both this year and four years ago.....the GOP has no counterpart for that kind of deep rooted and bloodthirsty treachery.....maybe that will be their downfall in the end.

Pretty much the whole western world relies on the US for their defense. New Zealand no longer has a blue water navy, nor do they have an air force to speak of.

Australia has enough of a navy to protect a fair bit of their coastal regions, and a small, but effective air force, but just like in WWII, if a real shooting war should start they will be asking for our help.

Same goes for Japan, the Baltic States, Greece, etc.

China is building a blue water navy specifically to challenge the USA. However, I think the war scare ghb going to continue to be smaller, regional wars for the near future because a war between any of the 3 of us is a existential war.
