It is curious that we've heard no mention of the wall. Of all the things Trump has promised to do, it's the one he's most naturally fit to actually understand well, at least from an execution standpoint.

And let's be real. Trump projected the wall would cost about $10B, which in the scheme of ~$1T of discretionary spending, is "chump change." Anyone with any knowledge of the executive branch -- it doesn't have to be Trump himself, but apparently also none of his senior aides know a damn thing about how to do it -- should be able to cobble together that sum without even having to ask Congress for funding for it. Oh, but wait, Mexico is who Trump thinks will pay for the wall. That notwithstanding, Trump has asked Congress for money to build the wall, which "may have fencing in places."

I know one place at least some, if not all of the money might have been able to come from: the wages the government won't be paying now that Trump has frozen federal hiring. Oh, no, it can't come from there because now that Trump won't hire people onto the federal payroll, and he's not obtained scope reductions in the nature and extent of things executive branch departments, bureaus and agencies are Congressionally required to do, he's got to husband that money so executive branch organizations can use it to pay for contractors to do the work lest the departments, etc. be in violation of the law.
