Any British Subjects Here? What is a "Prince"?

Easy ... titles have precedence ... "Duke of Sussex" is a higher rank than "Prince" ... so we call Harry and Meagan the Duke and Duchess of Sussex rather than Prince and Princess of the United Kingdom ...

I don't know about Archie ... he is an official Prince, but he may also have a higher title which we would call him ...
The Queen chose not to give Archie a title at all.
Didn't she pretty much banish Harry and Megan and their offspring from the royal family when they went to Canada? Then Canada didn't want them, so they went to LA. Sounds like they are a rich family complaining that they aren't treated up to their white privilege.

Can anyone explain how it happened that the kid of Harry & Megan was deemed to be something other than a "Prince"?
The kid is not in a direct line to be King. So he's not a prince.
Neither is Prince Andrew or his children.
But his daughters are Princesses
You didn't pay attention to the excellent explanation. Prince Andrew is the Queen's son. His daughters are grandchildren. That makes them Princesses. Archie is a great grandchild. Entitled to nothing. When Charles takes the throne Archie will be a grandchild so it might change.
Thanks
Makes sense now

When Harry and Meghan announced an intention to no longer be working royals the Queen was right to withdraw all the indices of royalty. It's the same as when anyone quits their job. There is no black privilege that means blacks get to keep the benefit of employment after leaving the job.

Sounds reasonable, what are they using for income to maintain their jet setter lifestyle? Diana's inheritance?

The children of Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, children would have to wait until Prince Charles, the heir to the throne, became king, at which point they would be the grandchildren of the monarch and hence entitled to be princes or princesses.
