Anxiety and Depression in Children and Youth

I got A's and B's in all my science classes. :2up:
Then you must not have needed to rock the boat on the contradictions. I would imagine you would have been booted out of the classroom if you asked forbidden questions!

Reallity is that every day a science class would raise contradictions for those who wanted to rock the boat. I didn't rock the boat in my science classes but the opportunity was always there! Some socially responsible leftists do!

I think that for most Christians in a science classroom, they have to choose to not think about the contradictions.
While other Christians who are more aware of reality have to sit and stew in their own juices!

Which were you? I always enjoy getting into a good polite discussion on the tough issues around religion and the bibles.

It's not a teacher's job to explain or 'explain away' religion to their students.
Yes of course it's not, but the teacher still needs to be instructed on school policy on how to dodge the questions.

And if the teacher answers any questions that are forbidden then he/she will be subjected to punishment, according to the laws imposed by religion.

That's the answer that Uncle Terry had to avoid. His faith filters out what his ears hear and his eyes plainly see. He's forced to live religion's lies.
Buzz off retard.

That might be true in your country?

Yes!

And we can agree that is the majority that claim to be Christians..
Try to converse correctly, didn't bother reading the dissection -

Kids had the same problems when I was in school but had more self-control. Also, we ate just as much sugar. :omg: The problem kids have is the same as adults have, a spirit of rebellion.
.

When I was a kid, I was made to act like an adult. If I wanted spending money, I had to earn it. When I was sixteen, I had three options -- go to school, get a job or do the housework. I got my GED and finished high school ahead of my class, got a full time job, and still helped around the house when necessary.

.

Which is all lied, creation or evolution? You need to stop pretending that you can believe both.
actually, we can believe both God Created the planet and all life on it and then let it run. Man wasn't created until fairly recently. and after Adam and Eve were kicked out of Eden they interacted with other humans. Cain and all the children of Adam and Eve married other humans.

Science is the study of God's creation. No need to stew over it.

Our culture is one of work work work be productive run here run there get married have kids work work work. And we wonder why people have anxiety? Where's the enjoying life part?
You have no work ethic.

Sure, but how can a science class on Paleontology avoid the big question the bible lies about?

As just one example that has to raise it's ugly head every day!

Or how about the stars in the sky vs. the firmament?

Did you sit and stew or did you prepare ahead of time with answers to imagine?

I would suggest that if you're happy with the contradictions then just let this subject go.

It can't work out well for you.

The best you'll get is support from the super faithful.

What lie, and what about the stars, sky, and firmament?

I'm happy to end this with your 'denial' again.

There's just no better way out of a debate that demands that you support lies.

Well, except that you might get White to shut it down for you because it hurts some feelz of the extremists again?

As kids both my older brother and younger sister were fussy eaters, not solely because of the food but because it was an opportunity for them act out. I happily ate everything that was presented at the dinner table. They carried this discontent into their adult lives as well. Both are long gone and I'm still alive and still very content.
There are few things more absurd than an adult who is a "picky eater."

You don't mean that 'literally Ter.

If you did then that would prove to everybody that your priorities are out of sync with reality.

There are dozens of issues more absurd than that!

To me the beliefs in the bibles being true, has to be as absurd as any other issue!

That's like being lost in a swamp and calling the only map out of it absurd.

Lots of ways to dodge questions. "I don't know" is a good one.

So, you're bailing before I rebut your false assumptions?
