I have always been a Capitalist. I am now disabled and won't be one of the ones who matter in the future. My way of doing things ill be as obsolete as the Model T. The old must die with their old ways to make room for the new.

Do you understand how much it would be to send checks to most people in this country? Hundreds of billions. Every month. Inflation will skyrocket. But I guess we can cap the costs of everything right? That certainly wouldnt cause any problems.

Company's save money by not having to pay workers would pass the savings to the Government.

We are a long ways off from 100% automation. Maybe centuries away. I doubt it would ever reach beyond 70%.

AI is over sold for what it can and can't do presently. If they use it for straight analytical tasks it's great, not so much for other things. Most of its efficacy is distorted with unrealistic and politically motivated filters. Until that changes AI is doomed to fail outside of analytical use and porn. Should the porn industry master it's use, it will become a cheap tawdry thing and backburnered for a decade or two.
