Kids are notorious for changing their minds multiple times as they grow up. At the very least, let them become adults before undergoing permanent, and for most, sterilizing procedures that they later come to regret, but can't undo.

Yes, I'm a big believer in freedoms for those who aren't minors. But, we have had far too many of these instances where these people really regretted what was done to them as minors and, in several cases, the push for transitioning of minors has been dowright criminal.

The problem is, the suicide rate after transitioning is very high. Mutilating the body doesn't address the underlying issues. They go through it, come out the other side and realize they don't really feel any better.

Thanks for getting that in there. Yes, these people have mental health issues but transitioning doesn't eliminate those mental health issues and in many cases actually makes it worse.

Sad. Extremely sad. I don't know how those on the left can live with themselves for destroying the lives of MANY confused youth. I remember as a male child decades ago playing with girl dolls because my parents were poor and they couldn't afford many toys. Posting in this thread has brought back some old memories of my wife and I going to a "professional" marriage counselor like 20 years ago. We had small children and we were often fighting on raising them. I owned my own business which, technically speaking, was owned by both my wife and I 50/50 but it was really my baby but I wanted my wife involved and I went over all important decisions with her as a team.

The "professional" counselor was an older lady who had been doing this for many years. Her advice was for me to let my wife make all the decisions on raising the children and for me to just accept all of those decisions and I would run the business and my wife would have to just accept all the decisions I made regarding the business (we never really fought about anything connected with the business).

What a total and complete idiot! BOTH parents raise children and should be involved and BOTH of us technically owned the business and we should BOTH be involved in important decisions related to the business. We went for that one session, never went back, and we figured life out for ourselves. That was 20 years ago.
