For those of you who were aghast that the blob (aka Trump) signed off on $2T in deficit spending ON TOP OF the $2T he spent in 2018 and 2019, get ready, he's about to authorize more spending.
WASHINGTON – Americans have yet to receive their $1,200 stimulus checks from the federal government, but another round of cash payments could be coming their way.
Talks are underway between the Trump administration and Congress on another recovery package to blunt the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic. A second round of cash payments to Americans is part of the discussions.
“We could very well do a second round,” President Donald Trump said at a White House news conference Monday. “It is absolutely under serious consideration.”
Congress already has approved three stimulus bills to juice the economy amid the coronavirus crisis. The largest is a $2.2 trillion economic recovery package that provides one-time payments of up to $1,200 to millions of Americans, as well as loans, grants and tax breaks for businesses reeling from the economic fallout.

Hazard pay for health workers
Health care workers on the front lines in the battle against the coronavirus might get “hazard pay” in the next package.
Trump already has embraced the idea, suggesting the money could come in the form of bonuses.
Senate Democrats are pushing for similar bonuses.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and other Democrats unveiled a plan this week that would increase pay for essential workers, including those in the health care field, in sanitation and who work at grocery stores. The fund would increase pay up to $25,000, or $13 an hour, from the start of the crisis to the end of the year.
“Thousands of workers report to the front lines of our nation’s pandemic response each and every day, placing themselves squarely in harm’s way to serve the needs of others,” Schumer said.

The $1,200 per person was about 17% of the total spent earlier in the $2T CARES package. Hopefully, there will be more money direct to the people in this round of welfare.
