Another reason why School Vouchers are needed....

Being a Teacher is a miserable job. I know this to be true without ever being a Teacher. ...
Is being an astronaut a miserable job? How about being the Pope?

So, you're just making shit up. Got it.

But then what do you do with all the millions and millions and millions of families that can't afford private education? You do not want tens of millions of uneducated teenagers with nothing but time on their hands roaming the streets.
We already have that.
Being a Teacher is a miserable job. I know this to be true without ever being a Teacher. I knew enough of them professionally and personally to be certain of this.

The 2nd problem is -- It doesn't have to be. The Teachers are the Spear Catchers for all the numbskull, idiotic, stupid, lame-brained ideas forced on them by Academic Imbeciles. The ones who never have to step foot in the Classroom.

The 1st problem is -- Teachers accept it. They get dumped on and the Teachers slurp it up like Mothers Milk.

So excuse me if I don't waste a lot of sympathy on them.

It's one of the reasons why Private Schools get such good Teachers. Teachers often leave because of all the bullshit. Most of them go into another profession but some of them, the ones who can live on less money, go to Private Schools where the object is to actually teach the kids.

Based on personal experience.

It also happens to be true. Sorry if it doesn't fit into your view of the world
I have heard the same, from teachers. Several took pay CUTS to go to private schools, to get out of the misery that is the government school system.

There are many that support school vouchers.

Once private schools get their lips firmly on the government teat, the possibilities are endless...

Conditions that can be tied to the ability to have students subject to vouchers:

  • Private Schools must have open admissions based on lotteries instead of picking and choosing the "cream of the crop",
  • Mandatory acceptance of SPED students with no additional costs,
  • No jacking overall costs by charging for books and "fees",
  • Mandatory transportation provided at no additionala fee for voucher students,
  • Teahers must have a teaching license approved by the government and endorsed in the classes they teach,
  • Mandatory reporting,
  • Adherence to the state approved curriculum.
.
.
.
.
Oh it won't happen overnight, but you can easily see where the DEMs would go with this in the long term (time measured in decades).

Don't believe me? Look at colleges and universities that love them those students loans and federal aid.

Then those are not vouchers. Vouchers are for all private schools with no strings attached, and you must be accepted by the private school to attend. If you are too dumb to get accepted, you stay in public school.

If you think that the government isn't going to attach strings to vouchers in the long term you are bing either ignorant (a temporary condition) or stupid (a permenant condition).

Exactly what I said: EBT cards for "education".

BBB passed. OK, given the Speaker and the Senate Majority Leader and all the RINOs, not too bad.
What's next?
Spending cuts whenever possible.
School Vouchers - education $$ should be appended to the kid by the parents. Federal education funds should be conditional on every state having a robust private school voucher program that includes religious schools (and as a result all the BS from the Christian "right" about injecting religion into public schools gets dropped) and that includes all religions (except the ones that just smoke weed)
Religions do not pay taxes and they do not get taxes - kiss .

School vouchers is a ruse by religious sectarianism to fund their fundamentalist psychosis .

Only homos support the public education monopoly, because it isn't about education, it is about turning America's kids into homosexuals...

America is always better with more freedom and choices, competition is what public education fears most.

Get back with us when you watch " Fail State " and how it relates how direct government funding of colleges meant that government could no longer enforce standards in higher education , under a presumption that direct funding of students would allow the free market to determine the best education , however for profit institutions paved a way for the least amount of education for the most amount of revenue , such that costs rose and standards fell .
