"A real job"? How many years of experience as a teacher do you have?... If a Public School loses too many Students, they lose their funding and the Teachers have to get a real job.
....
Trust you? Why?...
Trust me, they don't want that.![]()
When did I say that?Oh, so what you're saying is that private charitable institutions, who care about children, will step in and fill the gaps.
...
You may want to believe that because it gives you one more thing to be outraged over, but it doesn't change the fact that almost all aspects of education are a state/local thing.Hogwash....Federal dollars have been used as a cudgel to dictate curriculum and policies.....
Being a Teacher is a miserable job. I know this to be true without ever being a Teacher. I knew enough of them professionally and personally to be certain of this."A real job"? How many years of experience as a teacher do you have?
When school children start paying union dues, that’s when I’ll start representing the interests of school children. ~ Albert Shanker, president of the United Federation of Teachers
Ok....State and local bureaucracies are every bit as top heavy with administration, corrupt, and incompetent as any federal agency....In fact, a lot of them are worse.
Do you have any idea how incredibly stupid that statement is?Being a Teacher is a miserable job. I know this to be true without ever being a Teacher. ...
Not outraged, just conveying a fact of which you are in blissful denial. You may want to believe that because it gives you one more thing to be outraged over, but it doesn't change the fact that almost all aspects of education are a state/local thing.
And you know any of that based on absolutely nothing as well? Edifying.....
It's one of the reasons why Private Schools get such good Teachers. Teachers often leave because of all the bullshit. Most of them go into another profession but some of them, the ones who can live on less money, go to Private Schools where the object is to actually teach the kids.
It's tacit in your response. When did I say that?
It can't be a fact when it's incorrect.Not outraged, just conveying a fact ...
Is it imagination time again? What fun! It's tacit in your response.
....
Based on personal experience. And you know any of that based on absolutely nothing as well? Edifying.
It just happens to be a ******* FACT. Which is supported by this --Do you have any idea how incredibly stupid that statement is?
What experience, specifically?Based on personal experience.
...
******* spare me the interrogation --What experience, specifically?
Yeah...not always. Private schools don't require their teachers to have teaching licenses, so it's kind of a crap shoot....
It's one of the reasons why Private Schools get such good Teachers. ...
The object at public schools is to actually teach the kids too. Really.... Private Schools where the object is to actually teach the kids.
