Here is an interesting but not surprising take on spending increases vs outcomes in the various states. Teacher compensation is not broken out. COVID affects are not relevant as the results are relative, not absolute.

It appears that most of the additional money went to non-instructional staff. In Baltimore city schools there are more administrators than teachers. This is a sign of bureaucracy gone wild, and probably corruption, as politically connected persons wrangle for posh, bullshit positions in the school district.

For what it's worth.

I have long suspected this. We should go though those budgets with a meat ax.

Public "education" only hires left wing homo Dem Activists.

I think moving forward, as we investigate how these groups behave,

we will see that all or most of the dominance that the left has in certain fields, is the result of hiring and promotion discrimination.

And we need to fix that somehow.

80% of any school budget is salary and benefits

Taxpayer funded PRIVATE SCHOOL VOUCHERS for EVERYONE.

THAT is how to break the left wing homo monopoly called public education.

That would be a good answer on that front. Yes. Though higher education would be untouched by that.

Depends on what you do with the money. I don't disagree with the suggestion that there is too much administration, but that goes all the way up and well into colleges.

People are free to go to college anywhere. If you decide to go to a woke disaster, that's on you. The market will fix things. Big government only makes it worse.

The left has used non-government power to take over the field of education.

We need an answer to that. Otherwise, those lefties will just sit there and continue to work to indoctrinate the next generation.

They might be losing now, but that is a lot of people, with a lot of input, that they don't deserve, working hard to bring down this country.

The private universities are controlled by private donationations/money.

Since 2001, one demographic in America has more than 90% of America's wealth...

Everyone of them has engaged in anti-white discrimination. Seems hitting them in the wallet with some nice billion dollar fines would be helpeful.

As Charlie Kirk noticed, "Jews" are funding that stuff...

Whoever it is, we should hit them hard. In the wallet. For starters.
Jews do not fund left wing hate groups. He may be referring to George Soros who is not a practicing Jew but has Jewish ancestry. Much of the finding comes form China Russia and Iran as well as domestic communist hate groups

I suspect that you opinion that this is NOT a homegrown problem is wishful thinking.

Regardless of where the money comes from, it should be attacked.
