So, many times during biblical debates, the argument "mistranslation" comes up.
So that begs the question.. if God created everything, how did he fail at creating a book that couldn't be mistranslated? You would think, since he is so prone to genociding non believers and their children, or sending them to hell, he would have made a book that couldn't be misconstrued. It wouldn't have had books left out by humans. It wouldn't have had verses changed. It wouldnt have 500 kabillion different versions that all say different things.
He can make the universe. He can make our solar system. He can make earth. He can make us. He can make plants survive without the sun. But he couldn't make a proper book?
It just doesn't make sense to me.
And on top of all that, in this little area of the earth, the only place he chose to show himself, had all the prophets, his son, he gave all these people visions etc. And he would know it was of no use, but he did it anyway? And expects us to believe in it or burn?
What a weird thing an all knowing creator would do.
Maybe someone has a good made up argument for this?

A sense of humor, maybe? After all he is all seeing and knows everything.

What is your conclusion?

What is your conclusion?
That this whole Abrahamic thing was made up by desert savages long ago. And copied from older religions.
I express a lot of logic in my religious threads that certainly back up my conclusion.

one guy 3000 years ago makesup a fib beneficial to a few and they make it into a religion -

that has evolved into the three desert religions presently w/ the same preamble written into their bibles including similarly false commandments they claim came from the heavens used by them to persecute and victimize the innocent.

the spoken religion of antiquity only six words in length - the triumph of good vs evil - taught by jesus in the 1st century is understood in all languages, eternal and the heavenly goal necessary when accomplished for the free spirit to attain judgement by the heavens for their admission to the everlasting.

I wonder if questions about biblical validity should be divided between the Old and New Testaments. Much of the Old Testament was based on oral histories over thousands of years. The New Testament was written by percipient witnesses and contemporaneous authors.

I learned very early on that very little in the Bible is about me. I am only one of millions, each of us unique. This being the case, I am surprised (but also grateful) the Bible is as small as it is.

Have you come across a Bible verse that relates to you, and you relate to it?
