The bottom line is that we don't have time for this global warming nonsense. Obama's appointment of a communist and former organizer of an arson and looting rampage to be on his "green jobs" board should send a signal that the global warming scam is an evolution of the 60's and 70's (Bill Ayers) anarchist movement. We are trading our great grandkids future to China and Venezuela in exchange for oil while Barry and the democrats refuse to allow US companies to explore for oil in US territory.
Bottom line is, you're an idiot.
Sometimes, that's really all there is to say.
The bottom line is he is 100% correct about the bottom line. 100% correct..........
This is what Marco Rubio said on the HOUSE floor on Wednesday...................essentially saying that a choice will need to be made by the voting public to persue an economic appraoch which embraces capitalism or embraces socialism..........
"These are facts - no one would dispute that. The debate in Washington is not even about that fact. The debate is how do we solve it, how do we generate more money for government and reduce the spending, at the same time? And I will tell you this is not a debate we will solve in the month of August. In fact, I believe it will characterize the rest of this Congress, the 2012 elections and the years that lie ahead.
"And the division on how to solve it goes to the root of the dispute that we face in America between two very different visions of America's future. By the way, one not more or less patriotic than the other. Patriotic, country-loving Americans can disagree on their future vision of what kind of country we should be. But this division, this difference of opinion, is the reason why even though this bill passed, this debate we just had is going to move forward for some time to come.
"On the one hand, there are those who believe that the job of government is deliver us economic justice, which basically means: an economy where everyone does well or as well as possibly can be done.
"There is another group that believes in the concept of economic opportunity where it’s not the government’s job to guarantee an outcome but to guarantee the opportunity to fulfill your dreams and hopes.
"One is not more moral than the other. They are two very different visions of the role of government in America. But it lies at the heart of the debate that we're having as a nation.
Whether you like Rubio or hate Rubio, what he is saying is undisputable. WHoever doesnt see it has the political IQ of a handball ( ie; see the people who speak of "compromise" on the debt debate

).......so really, it comes down to asking yourself, which side is winning now and which side is going to win. It has EVERYTHING to do with the science of climate change.
Most people dont realize the political dynamic is undergoing radical changes due to our economic situation and THAT is going to have a dramatic impact on the whole global warming debate..........a fact which I know with 100% certainty Old Rocks understands but almost all of the rest of the alarmist contingent doesnt ( see Rolling Thunder, Chris et. al.). Ultimately, far more scrutiny is going to be placed on $$$ allocation moving forward and the emphasis will indeed be on the size and scope of the voting block..........and thus, its effect on public policy. For example..........Medicaid recipients are going to get hammered in coming years ( this effects me peronsally in my field of work) although they may not know it........... while Medicare recipients will to MUCH less of a degree. Why? Voting bloc size. The Keynesian model of economics is on its way out, once again proven to be.................like always.........a total disaster. The Laffer Model is going to make a comeback after next year passes and economic realities will ensure that public policy follows suit.............which will not be friendly to the alternative energy industry, but very friendly to the fossil fuel industry AS A MATTTER OR ECONOMIC NECESSITY. Trust me.........environmental radicals are entering a period of pronounced misery........and its not a matter of if, its a matter of when.
So trust me when I say..............the science doesnt matter

........except in terms of purely scientific debate in places like this forum. Dont shoot the messenger, who's only role in the forum here is to provide some very sobering perspectives on the science/political dynamic. They are NOT mutually exclusive...........which is not understood by some of the ENVIRONMENTAL FORUM contributers. I can say with 100% certainty that the ONLY way it could is if there were MASSIVE swings in the global climate, on the order of what you see in movies. A prolonged heat wave in the middle of the country during an outgoing LANina or a couple of tronado's is not going to change that much to the shagrin of the environmental OCD's.
And Old Rocks knows I am correct.............
