Another major Oval Office upgrade under President Biden: A bust of labor organizer Cesar Chavez where Donald's Dad Fred Trump used to be

If you meet a democrat, ask him. I'm Independent. Tell you what I did see. I saw the Vice President swear in three new Senators and change the balance of the Senate. I saw the President signing executive order to cut off permits to oil exploration in the Alaskan Wildlife Refuge. I saw the President talking to a thousand of his appointees, telling them what he expected and swearing them in under his authority as Chief Executive of the United State. All in all, he had a busy day, with the swearing in and the great speech he made. I'm satisfied for day 1. You should be, too.

Sure you are.

Every Nazi on the the board claims to be an independent. And yet you are by far one of the most partisan posters here.

And yes, Xi's man Quid Pro is working for Iran and Russia, ending America's energy independence for a few dollars more,
Not partisan, just anti-trump. I have voted for more Republicans in my 66 years than Democrats and been pissed off by both and undoubtedly will be again. I cannot abide a liar or people who are up front about their low character or prove it repeatedly while trying to hide it. Either of those two standard trump fails, daily. Never met a leader of low character, I could follow. Seen it done. Never turns out well. Typically, it didn't turn out well this time either. No matter. He is history, as far as national leadership. Good riddance.

Good. Chavez was a ferocious opponent of illegal immigration, coining the term "wetbacks" to describe them.

He criticized President Nixon and the Border Patrol for letting in so many 'wets,'

He should put a bust of Chinese president Xi, his boss and the person who has the goods on the corrupt Trump family.

Hey, give the old codger a break!

The Chavez bust is only there temporarily.

First, the Brits wouldn't allow this one to be moved:

Brits are still pissed off about Obama throwing out Churchill.

Second, Amazon is back ordered on the busts of Lenin but that
should only be for a month. Too bad; Xarris won't want it when
she takes over.

That place special place will be for:

Seen several reports like that. I am retired and though the article conveyed the general disapproval I feel for the man, from a militry standpoint, I am still far less charitable than the NPR writer.

Excerpt: Trump used troops — and senior officers — in clearly political events, at times referring to "my generals." One senior officer, who is not authorized to speak publicly, recalled that in his dealings with Trump, the president was surprised to learn the military is apolitical.

Moreover, Trump brushed aside a military justice system that found service members guilty of war crimes, granting them pardons.

Trump "was constantly undermining civilian-military relations around the bounds of what is acceptable behavior," says Peter Feaver, a Duke University professor who focuses on those relations. "This, combined with the fact that he has a tin ear for all things in the civil-military domain, means that Trump did lots of damage to this crucial pillar of the republic."

Aaron O'Connell agrees. He was a Marine Corps officer who served in Afghanistan and in Obama's National Security Council.

The "biggest thing," says O'Connell, who now teaches at the University of Texas, is Trump's pardons for Navy Chief Petty Officer Edward Gallagher and Army 1st Lt. Clint Lorance. Both were convicted of war crimes by the military.

"They were not close calls on the merits," O'Connell says. "Why get involved with this? It only hurts the military, hurts the rule of law and hurts the image of the U.S. as a law-abiding nation."

Chavez was a Marxist socialist, so yeah, I see why Biden worships the guy.

César Estrada Chávez was an American labor leader, community organizer, businessman, and Latino American civil rights activist. Along with Dolores Huerta, he co-founded the National Farm Workers Association (NFWA), which later merged with the Agricultural Workers Organizing Committee (AWOC) to become the United Farm Workers (UFW) labor union.

Ideologically, his world-view combined leftist politics with Roman Catholic social teachings.

You left something out, from your link:

Chavez increasingly blamed the failure of the UFW strike on illegal immigrants who were brought in as strikebreakers.[240] He made the unsubstantiated claim that the CIA was involved in part of a conspiracy to bring illegal migrants into the country so that they could undermine his union.[241] He launched the "Illegals Campaign" to identify illegal migrants so that they could be deported, appointing Liza Hirsch to oversee the campaign.[240][242] In Chavez's view, "if we can get the illegals out of California, we will win the strike overnight."[243] Huerta urged him not to refer to migrants who had come to the U.S. illegally as "illegals" but Chavez refused, stating: "a spade's a spade."[243] Some UFW field offices refused to collaborate with the campaign,[243] and the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) refused to allow its interns to work on it, at which Chavez cut the UFW's links with the NLG.[24

Can't you spot a military officer? They aren't drama queens, they never fall for conspiracy theories and they are highly focused. They can just run circles around flibbertygibbets like you and not even break a sweat.

Biden is compromised, the Chinese have the goods on him and his family and he will do as they say. Hunter laptop was the tip of the iceberg. Chinese probably have irrefutable evidence of corruption, money laundering and treason and will use them efficiently. Of course in public, Biden will make it look like he's "tough" on the same people that unleashed the worldwide humanitarian crisis known as Covid-19.

When the time is right Biden will mysteriously die and it will be attributed to his age or underlying condition, or perhaps one of those so called "leak from a high source close to Biden" (like they kept doing with Trump) will be used to take him down, to be replaced by Harris, which was the radical Left's plan from the beginning.

You can't abide a liar, but have been one of the most partisan fanatics on the board putting a liar, thief, and crook in office.

"Joe Biden has removed the painting of Andrew Jackson from the Oval Office and added a bust of Cesar Chavez. Barack Obama also dedicated a monument to Latino labor leader in 2012.

The new layout includes busts of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy on either side of the fireplace as well as the Chavez bust. Other busts in the office include Rosa Parks and Eleanor Roosevelt"

MLK Jr & Rosa Parks are an attempt to win back the 'Non-Blacks' who did not vote for Biden in record numbers this election...Chavez' bust speaks for itself. The bust of JFK does not make sense - Kennedy would not be considered a 'Democrat' today and would not be welcome in the party.

The Military Industrial complex wanted a war in Syria (don't worry - Xi's man or his replacement will deliver now!) and Trump wouldn't go along. This INFURIATED those like Mattis, who say their Boeing and ATK stock decline.

Then Trump turned around and MADE PEACE in the Middle East - that's when it was clear he had to go - no matter the cost.

But don't worry, sanctions against Iran were lifted yesterday - Quid Pro earned what the Mullahs paid him! Now Iran can again pay terrorists and create turmoil in the Middle East so that the Oligarchs can sell weapons to both sides. Quid Pro savaged American energy independence yesterday just as he promised, so Russia, Venezuela, and Iran will again have steady incomes - when you buy Joe Biden, he stays bought!

No more Trump putting America ahead of our enemies. No more Trump creating dangerous peace.
