Another honest question for trump supporters.

Trump has a long history of offensive comments
The reporter gave Trump a chance to defend them

He didn’t even try
In other words, he didn't fall for the trap. All of those "offensive comments" have been litigated in the court of public opinion and it would been of no benefit for Trump to address those comments in that hostel venue. That said, he did answer the question at hand of why black people should vote for him. And since most of the black vote has been democrat, Trump only needs to sway a few more percentage points his way for a win. Since many people including black people are pissed about high prices, jobs, and our open borders, Trump may be accomplishing that task

Donald trump took offense at the first question asked of him at the National Association of Black Journalists. ABC news Rachel Scott qualified her question with previously well documented examples of trump’s remarks (listed below) and asked

“sir, now that you were asking black supporters to vote for you, why should black voters trust you after you have used language like that?”

My question for trump supporters -Was asking why black voters should trust him an offensive question, or do you think the qualifying remarks (well documented) were unfair or rude? Trump wants to be president. He should be able to respond to hard questions in a mature and calm manner.

1. I want to start by addressing the elephant in the room, sir.

2. A lot of people did not think it was appropriate for you to be here today,”

3. “You have pushed false claims about some of your rivals, from Nikki Haley to former President Barack Obama, saying that they were not born in the United States, which is not true.

4. You have told four congresswomen of color, who were American citizens, to go back to where they came from.

5. You have used words like animal and rabbit to describe Black district attorneys.

6. You’ve attacked Black journalists, calling them a loser, saying the questions that they asked are, quote, ‘stupid and racist.’

7. You’ve had dinner with a white supremacist at your Mar-a-Lago resort.

8. So my question, sir, now that you were asking black supporters to vote for you, why should black voters trust you after you have used language like that?”

"So my question, sir, now that you were asking black supporters to vote for you, why should black voters trust you after you have used language like that?”

This thread up should be good reading...

his answer, was of course, a gross exaggeration. should she have taken him literally and let that hyperbole stand?
Oh, of course, you, the incredible genius that you are, think it is a "gross exaggeration," but there are plenty of people who think differently - that it was spot-on correct (,and they have receipts!) Haven't you figured that out yet? Haven't you noticed that politicians can dance around any question they want? Wake up!

Biden seems to never answer more than two questions, and we're waiting for Kamala to answer a question. And supposedly she was supposed to be at that event that Trump was at. What the fuck happened to her?

You know about when Lester Holt challenged her on going to the border, she said she has "never been to Europe either. I do not understand the point of your question." And what was Mr. Holt supposed to do - keep challenging her? There is nothing they can do!

Just like you and everyone else around here, you're not going to answer questions that question your intelligence - you're just going to ignore them. Nobody admits to being wrong.

The belief that the political party that is causing all of the problems is going to reach enlightenment, or that their notorious partisans will be irrefutably proven to be dishonest, and so, the remaining members of the corrupt party will cease their opposition to progress, and then all will be good, are illusions derived from the accurate aspects of republic governing theory, but nullified by the inadequate aspects of the simple three-branch government. The evolution of what has gone wrong is not as easy to follow as the legends of what seems to have gone right, but ultimately, it is a very safe bet that none of the subsisting political parties are prepared to be the impeccable organization of wise and honest leadership that can perpetually guide our posterity to domestic tranquility and the American Dream. The general problem of the social system will remain – neither the government nor any non-government organization knows how to adjudicate the social issues that accompany the diversity of people, otherwise, we would not be contemplating the totalitarian defeat of what is essentially a peaceful faction commissioned to represent their constituents in pursuit of justice and domestic tranquility, as well.

Trump can criticize their policies and positions

But his questioning their “blackness” is offensive
Trump questioned the blackness of the interviewers ? and as far as questioning blackness ..

Isn’t your question asked of Trump, not his supporters?
Wrong. From the op:

My question for trump supporters -Was asking why black voters should trust him an offensive question, or do you think the qualifying remarks (well documented) were unfair or rude? Trump wants to be president. He should be able to respond to hard questions in a mature and calm manner

Now don't be a coward and answer it
