A lot depends on where this brand lies on the quality scale and what retailer you've gone to.
An upscale "elite" retailer will likely charge more, like this, than a less flashy retailer.

Is Armstrong a premium, top of line brand, or more middle range?
Is this a white or yellow cheddar ?
Extra sharp, sharp, or medium ?

What is price per pound for smaller sizes, if such are available ?

A bit more information needed to comment with more effect and perspective.

It is the low end brand, perhaps mid at best. A notch above No Name in my opinion.

Sharp ~ Extra Sharp ~ and white are worth a try also.
(BTW, Kroger often has on sale for about $8.99 per 32 oz.)

I like their Spicy Habanero Jack as well.

Stuff half a jalapeno pepper with a chunk of that and a fat shrimp (or dove breast during hunting season), wrap in bacon and slow smoke on the grill.

You can come visit (with a Visa of course). and take some lessons on how to suffer in style when politics is so daunting.
You might want to pack some Tums or whatever though, because the food here would probably put your delicate digestive system into shock.

As for prayer, I asked what I should look for, and found out it was up to me, and the answer was not in the government.
I never ask the big guy for much anymore except for some inner strength and wisdom.
