I know you provided a source, it was the veracity of the story I was doubting, there are sources for lots of claims, most of Musk's claims can be sourced to a tweet of his.

The text of the source in County Local News, also smacks of AI, it seems to have been generated as the style of the writing is bland and overly laborious as if written for a child.

Furthermore County Local News also cites it's source and guess what that is? Yes, it's a twitter post by Doge.

But, what exactly is County Local News? It seems to be a blog yet there's no information about who's blog.

Not a single article on that site has the name of a writer or contact even, might it be your blog I ask myself...

So you have not in fact provided a source at all other than DOGE's original tweet, using a tweet to serve as a source for itself might fool fellow trumpanzees but it doesn't fool Sherlock Holmes.

All we have is a claim made in a DOGE twitter post and nothing more, no corroboration, no evidence that there ever was a contract, nothing, zilch. On that basis I am prepared to say the claim is a lie, a bare faced manufactured lie unless you can provide a source other than the claim itself, I can only wonder just how many thousands of people have now propagated this as truth, spreading more distrust and doubt around the country.
