Beats me. We have private boats leave here all the time, going into international waters and not being blown up by other foreign power navy. It is a new thing. But, if it is OK for us to do it, how long before other governments do it? If it is OK for Trump, would he have grounds to object if done to private small craft from the US, being targeted and fired upon with missiles, never attempting to stop, detain or search? What is the difference, if any?

I guess the difference is that everyone knows these boats from Venezuela are not just out on some pleasure junket. Why would they keep going out on the same path in international waters risking getting blewed up if they were not up to something?

You've seen the video. What drugs, weapons or dead do you expect to recover from those boats? They were done blewed up to smithereens! I expect that once things cooled down to 10,000°, whatever was left just sunk to the ocean bottom.

Perhaps it might be better to ask the government of Venezuela to supply a list of those killed and an explanation of WTF they were doing out there? In the same locations as the past 3-4 boats were blewed up?

Trump says his intelligence is good on these boats; good enough for me. I'm just glad to see someone in office getting stuff done and finding workarounds to the usual legal obstacles to why this shit never gets fixed.

It is a big ocean out there--- I'm sure Venezuela can find plenty of open ocean water to sail their legitimate ships to.
