And you want to know why I support Israel?

"Animals"....?

"There is no school tomorrow; there are no children left in Gaza,” chanted the right-wing extremists gathered opposite Tel Aviv’s Rabin Square on Saturday night, waving Israeli flags and shaking their fingers in the air.

As the the cries of “I hate all the Arabs” and “Gaza is a cemetery” intensified, some of the protestors tried to accost the participants in one of the country’s biggest anti-war demonstrations this year.

They're lucky Israel doesn't nuke them like America did the Japanese. Pius these are "right wingers" not the entire population of Israelis.

As neither is the entire population of Palestinians!

Aha, so that's why people were eating sweets and dancing in the streets, and why murderers like these are idolized by the Palestinian media, streets are named after them, and the govt. posts their pictures all over the place, encouraging more behavior like this. :cuckoo:

You and yours who believe that YOU are the righteous ones and freaking idiots!

It's ok for Israelis to 'celebrate' murder is it?

A god given right no doubt!

Well, when you see him, god that is... No, wait, think you will be going somewhere a lot warmer with your vile, belligerent views!

Enjoy!

Israelis don't "celebrate murder", asshole, Palestinians on the other hand have a national pastime of celebrating terrorists and the death of innocents. They are truly a depraved, barbaric culture and people, not much different that their fellow Muslims I have to admit.

because it doesn't. people were displaced by the creation of israel. that's a fact.

1) "because it doesn't"

Yes it does. I've shown why. All you can say is "nuh-uh!"

2) "people were displaced by the creation of Israel"

Can you back that up? Seems clear to me you can't.

3)"that's a fact"

No it isn't. It's an opinion.

look, you can claim whatever historical justification you want, that doesn't change that the creation of israel displaced a good many people - people that weren't happy about it.

I found this post:

It all starts in 1947 according to you - with not a mention of what happened between 1917-1947.

No mention of:

1. the Paris Peace Conference 1919,

2.the San Remo Conference 1920,

3.the Treaty of Sevres 1920,

4. the unanimous decision of the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine 1922 legally authorizing the Jews to "reconstitute" the Jewish National Home in Palestine in 0.01% of the Ottoman Empire territories conquered in World War 1

5. The Mandate for Lebanon and Syria and the Mandate for Mesopotamia enabling self-determination for Arabs in the remaining 99.99% of the conquered Ottoman Empire territories

6. the exclusion of the Jewish National Home provisions of the Mandate applying in 80% of Mandatory Palestine,

7. the 1937 Peel Commission,

8. the 1939 British White Paper,

9. the Arab riots in 1920, 1929 and 1936-1939

The only history is your version of history.
does any of that change that people were displaced when israel was created?

Yes. What makes you think it doesn't?
because it doesn't. people were displaced by the creation of israel. that's a fact.

Lots of people got displaced when the Ottoman empire collapsed after world war one. Muslims got 99% of Ottoman land in the Middle East, but couldn't handle the one Jewish state in the ancient land of the Jews. That's what all this moaning and Muslim aggression and savagery is about. Islamic intolerance.

Hey, ogi, let me ask you a simple question. Do you condemn what the Palestinians did in that synagogue? Yes or no question.

i'm just stating that using the death of five innocents as reasoning to support israel is weak, since there are at least 1800 innocent palestinains killed at the hands of israelis this year.

Disproportionate force is a very old and very weak argument. Have a seat.

defending who?

The Palestinians? How obtuse can you be?

Islam is the most pernicious form of hate this side of NAZISM. We KNOW what Nazis were capable of. But at least NAZIS didn't hide among civilians and even they valued the lives of innocent German civilians and their own personal existence .... Muslim extremist are little more than mad nihilists psychopaths. So, if this is the kind of madness that is against Israel, that makes me even more pro Israel.

Did you watch the video of Israelis dancing in the streets during the bombing of Gaza??

Though, I am sure you will tell me that is different because they are dancing in a land that was given to them by god, whoever she is...

probably doesn't feel so old and weak if you are the one that lost your home and family.

Have you? And just what makes you think you know what that's like? I feel for the innocent Palestinians who have their homes co-opted by Muslim Extremists and used as command posts in the face of their enemy, knowing full well they will take a few innocent civilians with them if they are blown to kingdom come.

You simply don't get it.

i don't think you do, either.

how many palestinians do you think can't point to someone in their extended family that has lost life, limb, home, or a combination to israeli forces?
and you expect them to acquiesce to the will of israel?

how many palestinians do you think can't point to someone in their extended family that has lost life, limb, home, or a combination to israeli forces?

How many Palestinians can't point to someone in their family who was whisked away by a terrorist to be used as a human shield?

weird. i'm looking at my november 28, 1947 map and israel isn't on it. huh. but millennia you say?

Ever hear the of the Balfour Declaration? Israel's national roots were sewn in 1917.

There are no doubts that Israel is there to stay, and so it should stay, within it's boundaries.

Taking two pieces of the 'great' Balfour Declaration that should also be taken into consideration if you are to quote the Balfour Declaration as the absolute right for Israel to be in existence...

"... the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people"

Confirmation that there was indeed a Palestine...

"It being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which can prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non Jewish communities in Palestine"

This is rather more difficult for the Israeli supporters to address....

How many Palestinians can't point to someone in their family who was whisked away by a terrorist to be used as a human shield?
i thought that might be an uncomfortable question for you

Perhaps they would stay in their boundaries if Hamas would stop launching rockets at them?
