Who Really Wins Powerball?

Okay, so three winning tickets were sold for the BILLION PLUS jackpot. Tickets sold in California, Florida, and Tennessee. But. Who are the real winners of the lottery?

A good percentage of bucks go to state governments, as well as D.C., The US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico – that desperately needs $$$. But, the real winners are going to surprise you – Convenience Store Owners. They not only get a small percentage of each ticket sold but buyers tend to purchase other stuff while they're in the stores. And, those stores who sell winning tickets get a big boost in general sales.

No figures for last night, but: In last Saturday's drawing, 25 people matched the five numbers and won $1 million, and three players paid the extra buck and won $2 million. Players also receive much smaller prizes for matching as few as three numbers or just the Powerball.
