But why would you even say "impressive performance," just based on the time he was able to stay on his feet, and talk without looking like a a total bumbling idiot for once?

I’m sure he was “medicated.” So I expect is Trump. They are both too old. They show the inevitable effects of age (and in one case of far too many Big Macs) … but in different ways.
