Do different races actually have different IQs? (Minnesota Transracial Adoption Study)​

Harvard psychologists took a look at how black children adopted by well off upper-middle class white families at a very young age perform on IQ tests once they grow up in white families with good socioeconomic conditions. Black children adopted by white parents average 89 on IQ tests at age 17 (slightly better than the 85 average for blacks nationally). White children who grew up in the same households and had white biological parents on average scored 109. Even with the same socioeconomic upbringing, the racial IQ gap remains.

The Minnesota Transracial Adoption Study examined the IQ test scores of 130 black or interracial children adopted by advantaged white families. The aim of the study was to determine the contribution of environmental and genetic factors to the poor performance of black children on IQ tests as compared to white children. The studies' general findings were that the IQs of children of a particular race did not differ significantly depending on whether they were raised by their biological parents or by adoptive parents of a different race. The gap between black and white IQ scores remained even if growing up in the same family.

How do you explain the success of the children of Eastern Europeans, Asians and Latinos whose parents were either totally illiterate, or functionally illiterate when they immigrated to the USA then? Their parents HAD no education but realized that education was the path to success and forced education on their children.

So you aren't talking about Children adopted as infants (which are rarely allowed) but older children who are placed in foster care and such, where much of the damage has already been done.

And even then, with opportunities, they STILL make some improvement.

How do you explain the success of the children of Eastern Europeans, Asians and Latinos whose parents were either totally illiterate, or functionally illiterate when they immigrated to the USA then? Their parents HAD no education but realized that education was the path to success and forced education on their children.

Well, first Latinos are almost as poor as blacks, so that's not really saying a lot.

For Asians, we aren't getting the illiterate Asians, we are getting the ones who already had the affluence to get here. Same with Eastern Europeans, for that matter.

For Asians, we aren't getting the illiterate Asians, we are getting the ones who already had the affluence to get here. Same with Eastern Europeans, for that matter.

There is no difference in wealth between second and third generation Latinos and whites. NOW we are getting the cream of the Asian crop. In the fifties, sixties, seventies and eighties we were getting the poor and political refugees from the communist takeover of the far east. The children of those largely ignorant and poor immigrant refugees are the ones outscoring everyone on tests and being successful in the business world. I know, I went to school with many of them and saw how hard they worked, and the kind of support and expectations given by their parents. You focus on right now; I use historical examples to show the truth.

The Chinese are sending a large percentage of their wealthy pregnant women over here to bear their children so they will be American citizens. That gives the parents an escape valve for when the wheels come off the PRC. Many of the other Asian society’s middle and upper middle class are immigrating ,or coming on employment visas. Many of our doctors and other professionals are West Asians.

As always, the legal immigrants are the members of their societies with the drive to leave everything behind to achieve success. Crew of the crop doesn’t mean wealthy.

And I've heard that one before from whites. Blacks are making them racist because blacks speak out about racism. Because whites who generally make these commments are the first to call people like Farrakhan racist. This is done without thinking. If whites can turn racist because they don't like hearing us speak out against white racism, then think about how living with facing white racism can produce a Farrakhan or Malik-El Shabazz and others.

Its time some whites dropped the white entitlement mentality.

Pay me $500,000 in reparations for all the money I've lost since 1977, caused by Affirmative Action discrimination. You could pay it in smaller amounts like $500/month.

Negroes make whites and Asians racist by robbing them, by using the tax money of whites and Asians to support their illegitimate children, and by demanding affirmative action programs that discriminate against better qualified whites and Asians.

We need more judges like this because we need a criminal justice system that subdues black criminals with cruelty.

The black ghetto riots did not begin until the civil rights legislation of 1964, 1965, and 1968 convinced black criminals that they could get away with looting and burning stores.
