The right-wing rag clarified its article to reflect the fact that it was fake news:
Correction: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that XRVision facial recognition software identified Antifa members among rioters who stormed the Capitol Wednesday. XRVision did not identify any Antifa members. The Washington Times apologizes to XRVision for the error.
Facial recognition identifies extremists storming the Capitol - Washington Times
As usual, there are multiple threads here in USMB (United States Major Bullshit) touting the fake identification story.

Whatever was written in the Washington Times, to the RWNJs it is forever the truth, regardless of the number of retractions published by the WT. It is as if they heard it watching FOX Noise. It is obvious by what Snoutie posted.

(Only a weasel would throw the insurgents he sent to the Capitol to attempt his coup, under the bus by blaming them for everything, AND saying they should be severely punished.)

Odd, but considering how much fox talked about the original report, they didn't mention the retraction

So, the RWNJs will chew on that bone for a long-long time. But, it will give the rational people many opportunities to slap the RWNJs in the face with the WT's retraction.
