It is very telling when Nancy Pelosie throws BLM and ANTIFA under the bus for rioting and violence on the house floor in a speech... She is in shear panic mode as the internal polling done by both republicans and democrats show them losing the house. The wave coming is going to be massive and people are already voting by mail. Many are pissed about the violence and the democrats are seen as fomenting it even by their own party... Early voting is backfiring on democrats in a major way as those voting are currently pissed at them...
You cant make this stuff up... it writes itself...
Yes, the House would be more at risk for the Dems than the presidency. I still don't think violence is going to be the #1 issue.
I watched and listened to the crowd at last nights Trump rally in W.I. He mentioned law and order three times in short order, each time expecting a great loud, roar of approval from the crowd. He didn't get it, he received a few spatters of cheers, almost indifference.
His comments about jobs, the economy, confronting China, THOSE received the most cheers (and I think, his comment about the 2nd Amendment if I recall). It was an outside event so who knows how the sound picks it up, but, I stick to my foreign opinion that jobs and the economy are the most important.
His position should be "we have the National Guard available and the city mayor know this, we will assist them, all they need to do is ask" That's it. He can warn about future lawlessness if he loses, that sort of thing, but that's all he has to do. He then balances it with
what he has actually DONE in 4 years. Justice Reform, First Steps Act, pardons as they make sense, Opportunity Zones.
Whoever is advising Trump on a sheer focus on Law and Order, I think, is doing him a major disservice. He can't focus on polls alone, they are quite inaccurate in todays hyper political age, he has to remember, some of his supporters are just NEVER going to vote for Biden. He has them already. He has to move as much of a % of Independents, old school Dems who don't like the direction the socialists will bring them,
AND, even those Bernie supporters who see Biden/Harris as Establishment. The GOP convention received big marks, why? It had so many black an minority supporters speaking about progress Trump made with them.
The choice of Harris as V.P gave him the best of both worlds, he now has an open path to the middle, he should use it. Male black voters in particular won't be interested in voting for her. He needs to exploit that. Don't let some B.S polls that cover big cities who will never vote for you, convince you otherwise.
Every single battleground states wants one thing, jobs, confronting China and individual liberty. Trumps keys to victory are to outwork his opponents, sell what he has DONE and will continue to do,
and what the Establishment never gets done even if in government for decades, even on Justice Reform, peace in the Middle East etc. Don't run on "maybes", run on your record. Don't isolate yourself into Law and Order alone. That's selling yourself WAY short, and not taking who you need.
