It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the American government is going to go bankrupt yet they keep on spending. Its not because they are brain dead. Its because they are doing it intentionally.

Its not about votes. It doesn't matter who wins elections anymore. The republicans have been infiltrated with progressives, i.e. John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Bush Jr.

Its not "keeping taxes the same" but giving a "tax cut"

Its not a standard capacity firearm magazine but its a "high capacity" magazine

To make things simple, let's call them the "right" and the "left" for now. I don't deny that the "left" uses the same rhetorical tactics as the "right", and just as much. But your examples don't work.

Well, "Healthcare Reform" would be the reform of healthcare. Which the bill was not. It was intended to reform our "Health Insurance" system. So that's correct.

"Keeping things the same" would mean letting the tax cuts expire, since that's the way they were written. "Renewing the tax cut" would be correct.

Labels are an excellent way of NOT THINKING TOO DEEPLY about issues.

The provide us with an apparently explanation without actually telling us anything important.

Left and right? Meaningless distinctions really.

Republican and Democrat? - significant only so far as they are describing different squads on the same team.

Socialist- that word has been so distorted out of shape by people who know nothing but what talking heads have drummed into their tiny skills that using that the word now is guaranteed to dereail thinking.

Captialism - not a single one of us has ever really seen it in practice since we shut down our childhood Kool Aid stands
