I have nothing against children having opposite gender parents.

However- millions of children are being raised without one or the other of those parents.

Allowing gay parents to marry doesn't change that. The vast majority of children without one parent or another are being raised by their single straight parent, whose other biological parent is not parenting. Then there are the children awaiting adoption, whose biological parents have abandoned them.

If we say that children can only have what we deem to be '2 perfect parents'- how children would we even have?
