The The American Academy of Pediatrics disagrees with the American College of Pediatricians. The The American Academy of Pediatrics has 62,000 members that are pediatricians or work in pediatric sub-specialties.

In other words, when the main professional organization for pediatricians came out in favor of same-sex parenting, there were a few who got pissed and started their own organization.
