America Last: After Spending $640 Million On Migrants And Billions Abroad, FEMA Suddenly 'Broke'3 Oct 2024ZeroHedge
ZeroHedge - On a long enough timeline, the survival rate for everyone drops to zerowww.zerohedge.com
The Biden-Harris administration's 'America Last' policies have left the country vulnerable. Between draining the strategic petroleum reserve, sending hundreds of billions in cash and equipment to Ukraine (such as electrical transformers that are now needed for Hurricane Helene), and FEMA spending $640 million to help migrants, the agency tasked with emergency preparedness is now 'broke,' and doesn't have enough money to get through hurricane season which typically lasts through November.
According to AP,
The agency is being stretched as it works with states to assess damage from Hurricane Helene and delivers meals, water, generators and other critical supplies. The storm struck Florida last week, then plowed through several states in the Southeast, flooding towns and killing more than 160 people. Mayorkas was not specific about how much additional money the agency may need, but his remarks on Air Force One underscored concerns voiced by President Joe Biden and some lawmakers earlier this week that Congress may need to pass a supplemental spending bill this fall to help states with recovery efforts."We are meeting the immediate needs with the money that we have. We are expecting another hurricane hitting," said Mayorkas, adding "FEMA does not have the funds to make it through the season.

Commentary:
There's a cry being shouted by the victims of Hurricane Helene in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, & Tennessee for basic necessities like water, food, blankets and shelter.
It's totally unconscionable that the Biden Administration, and his fellow Neo-Marxist travelers and their weaponzied agencies refuse to assist the victims of Hurricane Helene..
It appears that Emergency management and disaster relief are no longer the primary job of FEMA. EQUITY has become their primary job.
White Americans are not included any longer in the efforts of FEMA...
Four years ago Joey BaiDung promised $1500 checks as part of his election snake oil sale.
Today the offer is $750 to those white folks in Appalachia that have been wiped out by Hurricane Helene.
Some may say that it is incompetence on the part of this administration, while others have concluded that it is premeditated measured evil.

Equity
We are focused on reducing barriers and increasing opportunities so all people can get help when they need it. We are using equity as a lens to drive response operations and deliver better services to marginalized and other vulnerable populations.www.fema.gov
You listened to Sean Hannity today too huh?Just remember, they need to keep something in reserve for those who also want sex change operations.
As president, Trump delayed disaster aid for hurricane-devastated Puerto Rico and diverted money from the Federal Emergency Management Agency in order to finance an effort to return undocumented migrants to Mexico. And Project 2025, backed by Trump supporters, would restructure FEMA to limit aid to states and says that the National Weather Service, which provides crucial data on hurricanes and other storms, “should be broken up and downsized.”How are any republicans responsible for that?
You listened to Sean Hannity today too huh?
Funny that you quote him verbatim then. No, but apparently you were.
That would be a pretty impressive feat considering that I haven't gotten cable TV for nearly a decade!
Add to that the fact that I never liked the guy anyway and consider him 2-dimensional and boring.
Kinda like you.
As leftists like stupid ass Superbadbrutha cheers and his types. We cannot revile the people making this happen enough....

If I were you I'd be careful who I called stupid. As leftists like stupid ass Superbadbrutha cheers and his types.
Funny that you quote him verbatim then.
Why don't you go there and see for yourself?
Those hurricanes destroy a lot of folks hard work & dreams for sure. Over here in the west coast states we have just the opposite nightmare to contend with called wildfires. At least there are no hurricane terrorists to start a hurricane. Over here on the west coast we got the mentally ill arson activists to deal with. Our farmers are our first line of defense, at least on the flat land as they disc the vegetation down into the soil for fire retention lines to help aid the fire fighting crews. The treed hills are generally left to burn out due to limited access.
So your source is…..FEMA?![]()

Help keep yourself, your family and your community safe after Hurricane Helene by being aware of rumors and scams and sharing official information from trusted sources.www.fema.gov
Rumor: Funding for FEMA disaster response was diverted to support international efforts or border related issues.
Fact:
This is false. No money is being diverted from disaster response needs. FEMA’s disaster response efforts and individual assistance is funded through the Disaster Relief Fund, which is a dedicated fund for disaster efforts. Disaster Relief Fund money has not been diverted to other, non-disaster related efforts.

Rumor: FEMA will only provide $750 to disaster survivors to support their recovery.
Fact:
This is false.
One type of assistance that is often approved quickly after you apply is Serious Needs Assistance, which is $750 to help pay for essential items like food, water, baby formula, breastfeeding supplies, medication and other emergency supplies. There are other forms of assistance that you may qualify to receive once you apply for disaster assistance. As your application continues to be reviewed, you may still receive additional forms of assistance for other needs such as support for temporary housing and home repair costs. Learn more about the types of assistance available. If you have questions about your disaster assistance application and what you qualify for, contact us at 1-800-621-3362 to speak with a FEMA representative.
