America is becoming more conservative

No broadcast network does an 11pm nightly news. Are you just making this shit up?
Their shows are OUTSIDE the 7-10 primetime hours. That means BEFORE and AFTER primetime news has millions more people watching during those hours than the few people who watch during prime time. I am not sure what we are arguing so let me state it plainly:

THE NIGHTLY NEWS viewers are as follows 6-11:

Last week news audiences:

6.9 million ABC News
5.6 million NBC News
3.8 million CBS News
2.3 million Fox "News"
0.7 million MSNBC
0.5 million CNN

Nope, No ******* idea what you are talking about. ABC, NBC and CBS run their nightly news programs for half an hour at 6:30 - 7.
Brett Bair's show, which is the closest thing Fox has to a nightly news from from 6-7 pm. To my knowledge neither MSNBC nor CNN have a specific nightly news programs.

SOME DAY, Maybe some of us will realize that few elected officials actually work for us.

Sigh. Here you go. Nightly news programs are in the millions. This was July. Not the feeble 2M for Fox which is way ahead of CNN sure.

Despite ABC News’ victory in the second quarter, the network’s numbers were down compared to the first three months of the year, as were those of both NBC and CBS. In the first quarter of 2025, ABC averaged 8.13 million viewers, NBC 6.6 million, and CBS 4.59 million.

Got. Yes, during that half an hour 6:30-7pm, each of the broadcast networks beat out FoxNews.

But that isn't the point of this OP. During the coveted primetime, 7-10pm this summer, Foxnews kicked everyone's ass, including the broadcast networks.

Yea. More people get their news from non-Fox sources that many on this board consider left leaning. Almost 20M actually. Its a lot. Fox is pretty small but certainly powerful for that tiny demographic.

And yet your cult obsesses over Fox. And more democrats get their news from Fox then they do from CNN or MSNBC

Fox News Channel finished the summer not only trouncing its cable news rivals but beating the three major broadcast networks in primetime.
It says Prime time. Define that. ABC, CBS, and NBC network news are for short 30 minute blocks, not four hours of programming. I don't see where we are comparing apples to apples here.

You didn't make your beliefs about "non-fox news" known...outside of business decisions, part of the reason for keeping and then publishing such data is to force those who would deny the conventional news media is bias to see that it really is.

Fox is number 1 7pm-10pm but #4 and out of 3rd place by millions and millions 7pm-11pm slot.

It’s an easy concept. Maybe you need me to type s l o w e r?

You don’t understand what prime time is.
Are you stupid or lying to yourself. It’s one or the other.

15th post

This is better than a poll because its real. The left wing media is losing viewers in large numbers and they are moving to the right.
Yes... it does, indeed, seem to be true that America at-large has been leaning more Conservative in recent years.

Stereotypically speaking, Liberals just don't know when to force-feeding social reengineering to the Adult Voting Public.

I included ALL nightly news. They cherry picked the lowest viewing hours for news to limit their claim.

Prime time is... PRIME TIME, it might not be formal news programs, but that does not mean that it is not a vector of NEWS, nor that the viewership of that time is not relevant to tracking influence.

People love a circus...
the circus has been the leftwing media and 8 yrs of russia russia russia only to find out it was not just "FAKE NEWS" but a criminal conspiracy by the obama admin to subvert the will of the people,, ie insurrection,,
