Trump broke no law or Constitution. You can't prove that, all you do is blabber your TDS all over this Forum. The fact you call tariffs a tax proves you are so far up the Democrat butt, you can no longer see the light. This is on Trump, not SCOTUS. He knew he was breaking the law and constitution when he began.
He tried this his first term and had to back down because congress would not give him that sweeping taxing power with Tariffs....
This time Trump just ignored going to congress for permission...
Why waste brilliance on the terminally dim?As always, we stand in awe of your brilliant legal analysis
He met all of them...He didn't meet any of those limited conditions you speak about....not a one.
Americans pay the tariff levy, the tariff money goes in to our tax revenues to spend....Trump broke no law or Constitution. You can't prove that, all you do is blabber your TDS all over this Forum. Point out the law you think he met that congress wrote to give him limited tariff powers....insurrection...nope, rebellion...nope, national emergency...nope!He met all of them...
Did Trump’s lawyers tell you to say that too?Says a person who thinks women can have penises.
Not to jump in, but Trump does have a good Plan-B, actually a better legal argument than IEEPA.Point out the law you think he met that congress wrote to give him limited tariff powers....insurrection...nope, rebellion...nope, national emergency...nope! I'm all ears....go ahead....
Did Trump’s lawyers tell you to say that too?
No country with massive tariffs survives in 2025.Today, the Supreme Court heard the challenge to Trump’s tariffs.
If the Court says Trump cannot impose tariffs, as the law enacted by Congress years ago allows him to do, trillions of dollars of investment in the USA from foreign sources will vanish.
Only the President can speak with one voice; there is no way that a President can achieve such positive deals for the USA while hoping that Congress will back him up and eventually pass tariffs. No way.
In a few months, we will know where we are at on this issue.
Trillions of dollars of investments in the USA are in the balance.
If SCOTUS says the President cannot do this, they will bear the economic responsivity for those deals drying up. SCOTUS cannot wash their hands and say anything else, this will be on them.

Other countries pay US our tariff levy on THEM. We are receiving billions in tariff revenues because of Trump's tariff negotiations, most of which are reciprocal tariffs, IOW FAIR tariffs. You are low on knowledge. Here, get educated:Americans pay the tariff levy, the tariff money goes in to our tax revenues to spend....
It's a tax, that Americans pay....and Congress spends.

You can’t even finish a sentence, so go **** yourself, troll. As usual you can't answer the statement.
Now go back to your hole.
Tariffs placed by other countries on their goods shipped here are sales taxes to US citizens. Trump has negotiated to bring them down and in some cases reciprocal agreements to even up our tariffs on them and their tariffs on US. Tariffs are a good negotiating tool to use to get other countries to do things we want as well. You have a very myopic, Democrat brainwashed brain.No. Tariffs are sales taxes on US citizens.
National Security-Emergency... Also, Insurrection by the Biden administrationPoint out the law you think he met that congress wrote to give him limited tariff powers....insurrection...nope, rebellion...nope, national emergency...nope!
I'm all ears....go ahead....
There’s no national security emergency that justifies his use of broad tariffs on everyone including our closest allies.National Security-Emergency... Also, Insurrection by the Biden administration
Allowing tariffs if imports threaten national security, and Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, which permits action against unfair foreign trade practices. The bad economy that Biden left because other countries were taking advantage of us put America in harms way with our national security. And, the trade imbalance also was due to unfair foreign trade practices. Easy slam dunk.Point out the law you think he met that congress wrote to give him limited tariff powers....insurrection...nope, rebellion...nope, national emergency...nope!
