‘Amateur hour’: Washington aghast at Trump administration's war plan group chat

Dimtards lecturing Trump on the handling of classified material? Hahahahahahahaha.
Come on facediaper, that's lame for even you.

You mean we really should just stack it up in an unlocked bathroom with a chandlier!

No, that’s a Republican from the normie days. Now he’s Trump’s biggest nightmare with a story about an intelligence breach that would make Hillary’s email server blush!
He's a Trump hater, who covered for a pedofile.

'Members of Congress and national security staffers were stunned Monday by a bombshell report that top Trump administration officials — including the vice president and Defense secretary — discussed war plans in a Signal group chat.

Many raised concerns about the potential mishandling of classified information as well as sensitive details regarding U.S. war plans.

“Only one word for this: FUBAR,” Rep. Pat Ryan (D-N.Y.), an Army veteran who sits on the Armed Services Committee, wrote on X. “If House Republicans won’t hold a hearing on how this happened IMMEDIATELY, I’ll do it my damn self.”'

There’s no limit to this ‘administration’s’ incompetence – further proof Trump is unfit to be president.

For those who have served a day in uniform (Felon47 comes to mind) FUBAR stands "**** UP BEYOND RECGONITION". Hegseth needs to resign and then arrested.

The important thing is that, unlike Hegseth, Vance, Gabbard et al., Goldberg didn’t reveal any sensitive information to anyone not cleared.
He may have, if he had believed the chat was legit. He didn't know for sure until it already happened.

Shouldn't have happened and yes, people need to be held accountable for this. Pat Ryan however needs to cool it with the grandstanding because I didn't see any level of outrage from him during the last 2 years he was in office.

I am skeptical that any classified material was actually shared.

They acknowledged they were on unclassified Signal app...

"At 8:05 a.m. on Friday, March 14, “Michael Waltz” texted the group: “Team, you should have a statement of conclusions with taskings per the Presidents guidance this morning in your high side inboxes.” (High side, in government parlance, refers to classified computer and communications systems.)"

He may have, but the administration figures DID! Why isn’t that of more concern? I’m sure it wasn’t the first time.

Arrested for what?...lol

It is of serious concern if there is some truth to the reporting.

I am not likely to believe Goddard's reporting until verified.

Mission was a success, no classified info leaked (perhaps), Europe gets a strong message about US military protecting them. Could be an intentional leak.

If it's accidental, it's a big deal. Not in this case, but the generic implications are huge.

It probably does not surprise anyone that government officials use encrypted commercial apps like Signal. That's probably because they work great and are less cumbersome than any app created by the government. Need to get Musk on that, pronto. :-)

Walz Future In Doubt Following Accidental War Plan Leak.

The stunning revelation that top administration officials accidentally included a reporter in a group chat discussing war plans triggered furious discussion inside the White House that national security adviser Mike Waltz may need to be forced out.

Nothing is decided yet, and White House officials cautioned that President Donald Trump would ultimately make the decision over the next day or two as he watches coverage of the embarrassing episode.

A senior administration official told POLITICO on Monday afternoon that they are involved in multiple text threads with other administration staffers on what to do with Waltz, following the bombshell report that the top aide inadvertently included Atlantic editor in chief Jeffrey Goldberg in a private chat discussing a military strike on Houthis.
