Watched this last might. Its almost a period piece now. The GOP are far more polished in hiding their corruption.
Nixon was probaly the most corrupt President until Trump.

Seen it so many times, [over 50] actually just purchased it [also lived through it]...great movie but guilty of its own cover up...they had no source so they invented deep throat [many yrears later after the stautes were expired and not under oath they had an ex FBI agent claim he was deep throat]...they had nothing on nixon from the break-in [which was really just a third rate burglary where a bunch of bungling amateur burglars got caught inside the watergate hotel], when Nixon couldn't be connected to the burglary they changed direction and decided to go after him for what happened after watergate ["what did the president know and when did he know it?"] and instead of charging him before the fact they went after for his part after the fact, a 'cover up'...
...Woodward and Berstein were two nobodies, Woodward was green as kermit and Bernstein was on the verge of being dismissed, ya don't assign anything important to those type of reporters," in fact the question was asked in the movie "if watergate is so important, why are Woodward and Bernstein assigned to it? They were hacks whose bacon was pulled from the fire by the rest of the national media in the name of self preservation...but great movie anyway

Trump is a novice compared to the likes of the Clintons, Bushs, and Obama. Biden is irrelevant and has been since he entered gov't. Trump is learning though.

Nixon was a saint next to Trump.

Trump has an enemies list and is openly going after them. Not even Nixon did that.
