During WWII, Grand Mufti of Jerusalem Haj Amin Al-Husseini was a Nazi ally and an associate of Hitler, living in Germany from 1941 until the war's end and receiving funding from the Nazi government (see below). He also led the lethal 1936-1939 Arab Revolt in which at least 400 Jews were murdered.

Now the PA has built and named a public hall after Al-Husseini. None other than PA Chairman Abbas himself instructed PA officials to do so, thereby making a public statement about which historical values the PA chooses to uphold.
