This morning, an Israeli man and woman were murdered by a Palestinian terrorist residing illegally in Israel.

While doing their morning workout, Rina Daniv was stabbed to death and her husband Shimon was critically injured by Palestinian terrorist Ammar Rizq Kamel Odeh. He then stabbed another two people—killing one of them and injuring the other—before being shot and killed by an Israeli policeman.

This highlights the great problem with Palestinians residing and working illegally in Israel, which, according to Secretary-General of the Palestine Labor Union Shaher Sa'ad number no less than 45,000!

Sa'ad recently explained that while 120,000 Palestinians have permits to work in Israel, 45,000 are here illegally. They pay between $410 to climb a ladder over Israel’s security fence or $680 to be smuggled in by car.

Clearly, not only workers come in but also terrorists.

Secretary-General of the Palestine Labor Union Shaher Sa'ad: “There are perhaps more than 120,000 [Palestinian] laborers with [Israeli work] permits… We are speaking about 45,000 [illegals] who are currently inside Israel and a number of laborers are arrested daily… The main thing is that he finds [work], even though the cost of his entry to Israel is very high. The ladder they climb over [the security fence] - they pay 1,500 shekels ($410). If he is smuggled in by car he pays between 2,000-2,500 shekels ($550-$680).

According to Palestinian Authority law—the PA’s Pay-for-Slay policy, terrorist murderer Odeh’s family will now receive a one-time grant of 6,000 shekels ($1,592) in reward for his attack and 1,400 shekels/month ($371) for the rest of their lives being the relatives of a “Martyr” who died “struggling against the occupation.”

Every day since 10/7 dozens or more children have been murdered or maimed by your beloved Israel, and you don’t give a shit.

Israel Victory makes a convincing case that the Jewish state should follow the same playbook. To his credit, Pipes avoids the wishful thinking that has long plagued analysis of the region in general, and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in particular. This is not a book for those who have subsisted on a steady diet of delusions. This is the Middle East as it is, not as starry-eyed academics and misbegotten idealists want it to be. But he offers a path to the "new Middle East" that the late Israeli politician Shimon Peres, among others, dreamed of. And, ironically, it starts with reversing the very policies that made Peres and his ilk—the so-called peace processors—famous.

Indeed, it's been more than three decades since then-foreign minister Peres and then-prime minister Yitzhak Rabin stood on the White House lawn and shook the hand of Yasser Arafat, then the head of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO). The White House ceremony formally inaugurated the era of the Oslo Accords and the "peace process." But Oslo threw Arafat, an unrepentant terrorist, a lifeline.

The PLO was—and is—committed to Israel's destruction. But the collapse of the PLO's chief patron, the Soviet Union, and Arafat's decision to support Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait, left the Palestinian leader bereft of both funds and Arab goodwill. The Israelis had forced Arafat to flee Lebanon, and top PLO commanders had been killed. Oslo enabled the PLO to receive much-needed aid, as well as undue international legitimacy.

Arafat promised to renounce terrorism and to resolve outstanding issues in bilateral negotiations. Speaking in broken English before his new Western benefactors, Arafat talked of peace. But in Arabic he delivered a different message. Oslo, he said, was but a deception, a temporary truce. Arafat sought to use Oslo to fill his war chest and to gain a strategic foothold next to Israel. Regrettably, he was successful.

The Oslo Peace Process created the Palestinian Authority, which was given territory in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank (Judea and Samaria). Arafat, and his successor, Mahmoud Abbas, would lead both the PLO and the PA with an iron fist. They quashed dissent and used their official governmental arms, notably in media and education, to indoctrinate Palestinians with anti-Israel hate. As Pipes notes, in the years after Oslo, terrorist attacks increased dramatically, culminating in the Second Intifada in which more than 1,000 Israelis were murdered or maimed via suicide bombings, shootings, stabbings, and other forms of barbarism. More Israelis were murdered, Pipes points out, in the "five years post-Oslo than in the fifteen years preceding" the agreements. Arafat had promised to turn Gaza into "the Singapore of the Middle East," but both Gaza and the West Bank soon fell into disrepair, as the ruling kleptocratic regimes prioritized murdering Jews over institution-building.

At a moment of crippling weakness for Palestinian leadership, Israeli leaders had declined to vanquish their enemies, choosing instead to prop them up. It was a fateful error, and one that was historic in the worst way. Pipes asks rhetorically: "In the long history of diplomacy, has another victorious power ever turned over two contiguous territories to a fanatic, murderous, unbowed enemy?"

Reputation is Everything: Honor killing among the Palestinians July 12, 2021

In the Palestinian communities of the West Bank, Gaza Strip, Israel, and Jordan, women are executed in their homes, in open fields, and occasionally in public, sometimes before crowds of cheering onlookers...

Even when apprehended, murderers serve little or no jail time because honor killings are accorded special status in the courts. Men convicted of premeditated murder may be imprisoned for as little as three to six months. Upon their release, friends and relatives treat them like celebrities. Ahmed, a Palestinian boy who killed his teenage sister because she refused an arranged marriage, was commended upon his release from jail. Neighbors showered him with compliments, and his father called him a hero for restoring the family honor...

Among Palestinians, all sexual encounters, including rape and incest, are blamed on the woman. Men are presumed innocent; the woman must have tempted him into raping her or enticed him into having an affair. A woman is expected to protect her honor, even at the cost of her own life. If she survives a violent rape, she is condemned for her “mistake” and may be killed by her family...

In some areas, a Palestinian woman is required to have a male relative accompany her whenever she leaves the home. Unfortunately, her male “guardian”–father, brother, uncle, or cousin–may be a sexual predator who rapes her. Should she become pregnant, he will publicly condemn her for dishonoring the family after killing both her and their unborn child. Last year, seventeen-year-old Afaf Younes was killed by her father, who had allegedly been sexually molesting her. Afaf had tried to escape his sexual abuse by running away, but she was caught and returned to her father. He then shot her in the name of honor.

A sixteen-year-old Palestinian girl became pregnant after being raped by her younger brother. Once her condition became known, her family encouraged her older brother to kill her to remove the blemish from their honor. Her brothers, the rapist and the murderer, were exonerated. The girl was blamed. “She made a mistake,” said one of her male cousins. “She had to pay for it.”

While the Olympics were being held in France to celebrate sports, the Palestinian Authority held a summer camp to celebrate the massacre of Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics. The PA chose to name its largest summer camp, which hosts 150 children ages 7-13, after terrorist Salah Khalaf “Abu Iyad”—the head of the Black September terror organization and the mastermind behind the Munich Olympics massacre.

Salah Khalaf was not the only terrorist placed on a pedestal at the PA summer camp. Fatah terror leaders Khalil Al-Wazir—“Abu Jihad”—and Yasser Arafat were also placed on the camp’s banner in military garb to serve as role models, while the campers were taught to memorize the camp’s motto and pledged to follow the path of the three terrorists.

All the lion cubs and flowers (i.e., boys and girls) participating in the Martyr Salah Khalaf ‘Abu Iyad’ summer camp are asked to memorize the Cry and Motto of the summer camp:
We are the lion cubs and flowers of Palestine
Education, knowledge, culture, and religion
My land, my country, and the Paradise of My Lord, all the wishes for Palestine
On your path, Yasser Arafat
On your path, Salah Khalaf ‘Abu Iyad’
On your path, ‘Abu Jihad’

All the lion cubs and flowers (i.e., children)
Al-Aqsa Mosque remains our first Qiblah (i.e., Muslim direction for prayer), and Jerusalem is the cradle of the civilizations”
[Beit Amin-Azzoun Atma sports club, Facebook page, Aug. 8, 2024]
The PA is proud to show how it educates children to follow the way of hate and terror. The Western-funded PA Security Forces led the summer camp activities as the children stood at attention dressed in t-shirts that also boasted terrorist Khalaf’s picture and name:

  • The PA’s official daily cites numbers that show how it is clearly to blame for its own problems
  • Israel deducts from PA tax transfers because the PA insists upon rewarding terrorists
  • Israel deducts from PA tax transfers because the PA sends money to Hamas-controlled Gaza
  • Israel deducts from PA tax transfers because the PA owes Israel money
The Palestinian Authority prioritizes its payments to terrorists and has lost over 6.96 billion shekels (over $1.88 billion) in the last 5 years alone, according to its own data.

The official PA news agency, WAFA, criticized Israel for causing the PA’s financial crises and itemized all the deductions from tax revenues that Israel collects for the PA. However, a look at the PA’s numbers shows that the PA itself is responsible for its crises.

Israel’s deductions are in 3 main categories.

Deduction 1: Pay-for Slay

Every year, in accordance with its Anti “Pay-for-Slay” law, Israel makes 12 monthly deductions from the tax transfers that it would otherwise have sent the PA. This deduction is identical to the amount that the PA rewarded imprisoned terrorists and families of so-called Martyrs in the previous year.

Deduction 2: Money to Gaza since October 7

After the massacre and atrocities committed by Gazans on October 7, 2023, Israel has been making deductions from the PA in accordance with the amount that the PA sends to Gaza each month. The sum of these deductions is sent to Norway for future distribution when Israel will be able to be sure that the proceeds will not go directly into Hamas’ hands.

Deduction 3: Repaying PA debts

For many years, Israel generously allowed the Palestinian Authority to use Israeli hospitals, electricity, and water, even though the PA did not pay its fair share. Israel finally decided to make a deduction from the tax transfers in accordance with a portion of the debt that the PA has incurred.

The PA’s official daily said that these “illegal deductions” are the cause of its financial crises. However, it is clear from looking at the PA’s own figures that the PA has only itself to blame for its woes.

SUBTOPIC: Financial and Political Influences
⁜→ et al,

Agreed !

Whenever "Palestine" joins an international group, it wants all the benefits (prestige, acting like a real country) with none of the responsibilities.Tthere are no requirements for members of BRICS, so this one is an easy one for the PLO.
(COMMENT)

This is just a cosmetic act to masquerade as a functioning government.

The alliance of the BRICS Group (Brazil, Russia, India, and China) was made as an alternative to the economic and political influence of the US and the various Western nations. However, the Hostile Arab Palestinians (HoAP) are virtually dependent on the financial contributions to them by the US and the various Western nations.
Major Donors to Palestine.jpeg
As you can see, the US donates more to the Palestinians than any other financial contributor. Attempts to damage American and Western influence is self defeating.

Today, we commemorate the 23rd anniversary of the heinous 9/11 terrorist attacks on the United States. As we move further away along the spectrum of time from the attacks of 2001, it is worth remembering the way that the Palestinian Authority celebrated the attacks year after year with cartoons glorifying Bin Laden or mocking and attacking the US.

The PA’s official media made a concerted effort to bash the United States by rubbing salt in its most sensitive wounds and by depicting America as evil while appropriating Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims as the victims.

In this cartoon below, Bin Laden is shown forming a victory sign with his fingers, which are made up of the smoldering Twin Towers next to a plane about to fly into them.

In this next cartoon, the PA depicts Iran and Iraq as the real victims of 9/11.

Another cartoon shows the PA’s view that the real victims of 9/11 were Iraq and the Palestinians:

Text on one tower: “Palestine”
Text on the other tower: “Iraq”

[Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida and Palestinian daily Al-Quds, September 12, 2003]
The PA mocks the US by portraying Uncle Sam fleeing in terror from the date “September 11.”

Text: “September” followed by legs that form “11”
[Official PA daily Al-Hayat Al Jadida, reprinted from Al-Wattan of Kuwait, September 11, 2002]
In an effort to say that the US is immoral and imperialistic, the cartoon places the Twin Towers over a mass of dead bodies who are supposedly the victims of American imperialism.

In July, Palestinian Media Watch reported on a new grant of 400 million euros that the EU would be giving the Palestinian Authority in three installments in 2024.

The official PA news agency, WAFA, has now revealed that the EU had already transferred 150 million euros to it upon making the announcement and that it has now received the second installment at a sum of 122.5 million euros. These transfers are being made even as the PA openly admits to spending over 150 million euros a year on salaries to imprisoned terrorists and the families of so-called Martyrs.

The WAFA article explained:

The Palestinian government welcomed the European Union’s decision to transfer 122.5 million euros, which is the second installment of the special monetary aid package at a sum of 400 million euros. The second installment includes 38.5 million euros in the form of a grant through the PEGASE mechanism in order to pay the [PA public] employees’ salaries, and 84 million euros as credit easements for the Palestine Monetary Authority, which are being provided by the European Investment Bank.”
[WAFA, official PA news agency, Sept. 5, 2024]
122.5 million euros is a sum equivalent to about 135 million dollars and 400 million euros is a sum equivalent to about 440 million dollars.
The article describes the grant as being “part of a strategy that was agreed upon between the EU and Palestine to take care of the difficult monetary and economic situation of the PA and the Palestinian economy.” WAFA also continued to tow the PA’s line, saying that the aid is significant “in the shadow of the deterioration in the financial situation as a result of the occupation’s aggression against our people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and as a result of the financial siege that Israel is imposing through the continued illegal deductions from the [PA] tax money and the seizure of the sums that were deducted.”

As PMW has documented, the only reason that there is any “deterioration in the financial situation” of the PA is because the PA continues to prioritize the payment of salaries to terrorists.

Instead of encouraging the PA to take responsibility for its financial decisions and to end its Pay-for-Slayprogram, the EU pays certain employee salaries, thus enabling the PA to have other money to pay the terrorists. The EU can delude itself into thinking that it is only paying legitimate PA public employees, but the truth is that the EU’s money contributes to terrorism.

It is no wonder that the WAFA article’s headline is “The [PA] government welcomes the transfer of the second installment of European aid at a sum of 122.5 million euros.” Of course it welcomes it because the funds allow PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to make good on his constant refrain that even if the PA had only one penny left, it would continue to pay the prisoners and “Martyrs.”

So the EU is financing the PA's martyr's fund ($350,000,000 per year), paying Palestinians to commit acts of terrorism against Jews. Shouldn't the countries supporting this be labelled state sponsor's of terrorism?
