Alien: Romulus

Waaayyyyy too much fan service. There were constant references to the old movies and it was distracting, kept snapping me out of the moment and think about other movies. The constant references seemed lazy and hacky.

I liked them, felt it made the movie even better. Some of them were pretty subtle and you had to pay attention to catch them.

Alien Romulus:
Expecting a meal, delivered potato chips.

1) Where's the story - they forgot one.
2) All of the actors looked like teenagers.
3) WHY IS THE ENTIRE MOVIE SHOT IN ALMOST TOTAL DARKNESS?????
4) You barely see the Xenomorphs.. because it is SO DARK
5) The science was absurdly dumb.
