is it any wonder why socialism is about equality not money.

Socialism is built on reduced individual freedom and more on the collective which in turn stimies independence, innovation and the worker is minimized while the government elites are grandized.

Some things are better done by the government like building infrastructure or providing services like police & fire, and providing education for all. Regulating the actions of corporations & people though laws.

I don't disagree with what you say, however that doesn't negate my statement.

Government builds infrastructure has nothing to do with socialism, fire and police departments are not socialism.
