The shutdown exposes 3 critical weaknesses for Democrats

Nothing like that happened. Did China happen to you about that time?

I can honestly say that I've had "Yellow Fever" since puberty.

But my wife and I have only been together for three years.

I first voted Republican in 1980 because I was looking at a career in the military, and Reagan was good for the military. By the time I left the military in 1992, I was disillusioned with Bush, but I voted for him and Dole because Clinton was such a sleaze.

I voted for Bush Jr. twice, but by 2008, it became clear to me (After the fourth Republican recession I lived through) that Republicans don't care about working folks like me. In 2008, they bailed out the bankers, and the rest of us were left to fend for ourselves, essentially.

But the real kicker was in 2012, when the Republicans nominated Romney. Because deep down, I hate Mormons and always want to see Mormons fail.

Now, yes, there were always elements of the GOP that made me wince. I became an atheist in the mid-80s, and never had much use for the Evangelical crazy undercurrent of the GOP. I was also never really entirely comfortable with the undertones of racism and homophobia, but being a white, straight male, I just didn't treat it like it was my problem.

I would love to say I turned on Bush because he lied us into a war or because he utterly failed to help the people of NOLA during Katrina. But those things didn't really affect me. It was only when his gross incompetence began to affect my life that I started to rethink things.

I'll go one further. The real "Inmates have taken over the Asylum" moment for me for the GOP was in 2008, after Obama just gave the GOP a well-deserved shellacking.

Never did it occur to them that the reason was that they wrecked the economy and lied to us into a war.

They immediately had a conference of the religious nutters to find out why Jesus didn't love us anymore.

You had Mitt Romney, a guy who wears magic underpants and thinks that he's going to rule a planet in the afterlife.

You had Sarah Palin, a woman who went to a church where they brought in an African Witch Hunter (actually, some guy who harassed some woman offering folk cures).

You had Piyush "Bobby" Jindal, a guy who once said he performed an exorcism on a classmate in College. (Even the Catholic Church doesn't boast about the exorcism nonsense anymore.)

You had Mike Huckabee, a guy who think the Rapture is going to happen. (The rapture appears nowhere in the Bible, btw).

IT'S THE ******* 21st CENTURY!!! WE HAVE COMPUTERS AND SPACE SHUTTLES NOW! SHIT LIKE THIS SHOULDN'T STILL BE A THING!!!!

Apparently your deep profound hate for Mormons stems from acts you and they did earlier.

Republicans never have caused any recession. Republicans have had a task of caring about the entire USA and not a particular class. Bankers keep for trust public funds. Would you wish they go broke thinking them broke helps you out?

Just what is needed in our country, a declared Atheist telling us he hates Mormons.

I had an encounter with them that makes me sorry we didn't wipe them out in the Utah War.

Actually, they should have been held accountable. Not one ******* banker went to prison for the crash of 2008, they all got bonuses, and they got bailouts.

In short, absolutely no reason for them not to do it again.

Recessions are a design feature of Republican Governance. It's why 10 of the last 11 Recessions happened when Republicans were in charge. Soon to be 11 out of 12.

Just what is needed in our country, a declared Atheist telling us he hates Mormons.

Yes, I loved the taste of Mormon Tears when Romney failed.

I also hear his supporters on Planet Kolob were disappointed.

I normally pick your best to reply back to you. Could not find any this time.

It's so kind of you to offer such good advice. It's obvious you only have our best interests at heart. The Democratic party has decided to make our own decisions in those matters, so that frees you up to worry about your cult instead of our choices. Thank you for your concern though.
You had the opportunity the first two years of Joe's administration. And you did not. Trillions of dollars printed up and wasted. And frankly, that is what you do.

And your guy attempted an insurrection, used the military to attack our citizens, sold presidential favor for personal gain, and believes there is some kind of secret bed that can cure anything, including cancer. Your guy and his entire cult is crazy. You lose.

And your guy attempted an insurrection,

sold presidential favor for personal gain,

Leftards are LIARS, they keep lying long after they've been debunked.

Trump posted it on his own site.
