I wonder these days if anyone would trust the state/federal .gov enough to volunteer.

You might wonder, why did they need so many volunteers?

That's because in the event of a nuke attack on a city a full 2/3rds of the volunteers would die in the attack. That's what they didn't tell them.

Yep, same here....I was watching TCM and it was a filler between The Omega Man and On The Beach. As soon as I saw the title I thought of the same thing.
