Alabama will execute a convict using nitrogen

Alabama is over thinking this. Capital punishment has been around since antiquity, is there really any reason to invent new methods when the traditional modes have been so effective?

What's wrong with hanging, decapitation or garroting?
A more humane method would ensure that more deserving murderers get their due.

Some people learn; those with sentences they can handle. The death penalty has never stopped another killer before.
Have you committed a murder and got away so feel death does not work to stop crime?

You know that the death penalty has never been a deterrent against serious crime. Don't be silly.
As you know, that is not true.

A better solution would be to limit all appeals and legal maneuvering to two years. From the date of the death sentence, the Defense has two years to exercise all appeals, or the animal is put down on that date.

Yes, but how do you sort out the 21% "burned off" oxygen products?

What products? Name them. What product is created by adding oxygen into a pure gas flame to burn off the oxygen that would end up having as much volume as the original oxygen you burned off???

They would be vestigial and could be trapped out by running the gases through a filter or left alone as inert traces immaterial to the purpose of executing prisoners.

You're burning off the oxygen by burning "pure gas"? What's that?

I'm pretty sure that's not the best way to obtain pure nitrogen.
