Alabama is over thinking this. Capital punishment has been around since antiquity, is there really any reason to invent new methods when the traditional modes have been so effective?

A better solution would be to limit all appeals and legal maneuvering to two years. From the date of the death sentence, the Defense has two years to exercise all appeals, or the animal is put down on that date.

Better check again. Nitrogen makes up 78% of the air you breathe. The other 21% is the oxygen you are burning off. 78+21 = 99% leaving 1% trace gases and water vapor.
