A federal agent who exposed the Justice Department’s flawed gun-trafficking investigation known as Operation Fast and Furious says the FBI played a key role in events leading to the 2010 murder near Nogales, Ariz., of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

John Dodson, a special agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, contends that the bandits who killed Terry were working for FBI operatives and were sent to the border to do a drug rip-off using intelligence from the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.

“I don’t think the (FBI) assets were part of the rip-off crew,” Dodson said. “I think they were directing the rip crew.”

Op-F/F makes Watergate look like child's play and even if the media chooses to ignore the operation and the coverup we know a couple of things for sure. The US government authorized an insane plan and we ended up shipping about 3,000 illegal weapons to Mexican drug cartels. One of the weapons was used to murder a Border Patrol agent in the line of duty. The Attorney General denied having knowledge of the operation and his arrogance caused him to be held in contempt by a congressional committee and president Obama obstructed the investigation into the A.G.'s role. We know a few things about the FBI. While the vast majority of Agents are heroes who risk their lives every day the head of the Bureau answers to the Attorney General and the Attorney General answers to the administration. During the first George Bush administration the FBI was called in to bail out the incredible (typical?) incompetence of the ATF at Ruby Ridge. An FBI sniper was ordered to violate Constitutional restraints and kill a woman holding a 18 month old child in her arms and he was subsequently indicted by the local jurisdiction. The case was quietly dismissed by a federal judge who owed his allegiance to ...the Attorney General. The same FBI agents were promoted by Clinton appointed A.G. and went on to bigger atrocities at Waco Tx. The media justified each atrocity just like it ignores the deaths of perhaps hundreds of innocent Mexican citizens who were murdered with weapons supplied by the federal government.

Jury Convicts 2 Mexicans for Murder of US Border Patrol Agent
October 01, 2015 - A federal jury in Tucson, Arizona found two Mexican men guilty Thursday for the 2010 murder of U.S. border patrol agent Brian Terry.
Ivan Soto-Barraza and Jesus Leonel Sanchez-Meza both face life in prison when they are sentenced in December on charges including first degree murder. The two were part of a gang who crossed into the United States in December, 2010 with the intention of robbing drug traffickers but wound up in a shootout with border patrol agents.

One of the bullets fired by the gang struck and killed Terry. Two other men already pleaded guilty while another two suspects are still at large. U.S. Attorney Laura Duffy said while Thursday's verdict cannot undo the tragedy of Brian Terry's death, it brings another measure of justice to the agent's family.
