I started watching him halfway through the season. He set the all time passing yards record for the Bears in his second year. Their receiving corp ranked 10th in the NFL and they have a couple really good RBs. Could be dangerous team next year.Well, I don't have any history with the guy, the Bears are not normally a team I follow. Many were poo-pooing Chicago this playoff cycle while many others were saying Chicago was the team to watch out for.
Turns out that they were.
Fact is they came within 3 points of going to the NFC Conference Championship, and it took the Rams into OT to finally knock them out of contention.
I will definitely be keeping my ear to the rail for further developments with Williams in the coming year. To be honest, I was kind of pulling for the Bears to win as the underdogs--- you just don't see Chicago in the Big Game very often.
