ADP: 122,000 jobs added in May

Democrats certainly have a history of painting good as bad if the good is produced by patriotic American conservativism.
That's right. That's politics. Shoot the statistician till you find one that does the math 'correctly'.

Lotta temp stuff for restaurants and bars at summer tourist spots, most of the rest in healthcare.

Nothing really transformational or earth-shattering here.
Other than, once again, putting the lie to your cult's chant that the economy is in tatters under Trump.

Oh really? Interesting. It probably helps Trump put a Project 2025 and Heritage Foundation chief in charge of BLS.
Sorry Gabe, it was your cult that was cooking the books at BLS

It's the same shit.
It's Vaudevillian BS.
How are they on Israel?
How are they on bailouts?
How are they on police state?
How are they on privacy? The Fourth Amendment?

Same shit. SAME SHIT.

Where did I say it will be revised down?
Jobs numbers were revised downward after the initial erroneous report during the Biden administration.

  • A revision to historical job creation data showed the economy lost 48,000 jobs in January 2025 instead of gaining 111,000, wrecking former President Joe Biden's formerly perfect record on job creation.

Got it. You're one of the ones that is above it all an believes there is no difference between the parties. Interesting world in which you live.

Its the third great jobs report in 3 months in the face of the war and high gas costs. Thats a strong economy and they are mostly private jonbs not government jobs
And? Pent up demand after 13 or 14 months of essentially no growth is totally expected. In fact, I would have expected over 200K for every report.

It is, sad to say. I'd much rather it be a good economy no matter who is in office.

15th post
In May, employment in local government rose by 55,000, largely reflecting a gain in local
government, excluding education (+44,000).

This morning's report by the Bureau includes the public sector as well while ADP's sticks purely to non-government employment. Sort of matches well with ADP's report of earlier this week. Although I'm not sure how to interpret the "excluding education (+44,000)" and whether it's part of that 55,000 increase. It makes me happier to assume so.

I find it interesting to see the numbers by job sector:
