ADP: 122,000 jobs added in May

According to the report those were local not federal jobs. Trump fired over 300000 useless federal workers and thats part of why inflation is stable.

Preventable infectious diseases surging, Ebola raging unchecked, screwworm in Texas, foreign policy in shambles, inflation higher now than when Trump took office. Going great.

Thats NOT a good report. Thats about half what Obama got on average. Its just better than the shitty forecast the stock market was predicting. THATS LESS THAN POPULATION GROWTH.
Have you been in a cave from 2008-2016? Technology has grown since and fewer workers are needed to do certain jobs. These numbers are very good for Trump despite the AI cloud hovering overhead. Alternatively , you can thank tariff.

Does it matter if they are federal or local? The funding still comes from taxpayers. It is still government spending.

Yes federal jobs tend to be patronage and useless. They also cost a lot more. Thats how democrats create power by expanding the government with programs that pay off their supporters with tax payer money.
Local jobs have little effect on the nations economy. Biden had massive expansion of federal jobs funded by debt which has to be backed up by printing money. He took1.6% inflation and in 1 year it was 9.1%

Growth in government (as measured by government employees) over the past 70 years has been almost entirely in non-federal jobs.

It is good news, not good enough, but good. The question is, what will the revision bring?

Not good enough? 85K were expected, 172,000 created? That is phenomenal!!! Thank you Donald John Trump! This economy is on FIRE!!!

80000 expected, OVER DOUBLE THAT CREATED!!!

This is unbelievable!! This economy is truly on fire. Thank you Donald John Trump!

Combine this with record stock market closes lately, record fraud identification and prosecution and we can say we are truly proud of our president!!!

Lotta temp stuff for restaurants and bars at summer tourist spots, most of the rest in healthcare.

Nothing really transformational or earth-shattering here.

Well, the expectations were dismal but the numbers came in mediocre, so the excitement is palpable.

And, like so many other government statistics as during the Scamdemic, the data could easily be contrived by bureaucrats.

Yea, Biden's numbers were always revised down, Trumps are always QUIETLY revised upwards. Let's see where they go.
Not even close, Trump's numbers are almost always revised down later. The mean revision last year was almost -60,000 jobs per month relative to the initial estimate.

Do either democrats or republicans play down jobs growth numbers when they come out?
