I'm an optimist, so I've always believed terrorists and criminals would see the error of their ways and start obeying the gun laws. But today's tragedy is shaking my faith and I'm having second thoughts.

Maybe if they just had more compassionate and understanding social workers or something, these things wouldn't happen. Or maybe they can't find a decent job, so they take it out on society. If only that mean old Trump hadn't cut all the funding for those programs, things like this wouldn't happen.
