Sounds like a great deal. Not only will it cost about the same/ a bit more than it does now, but the govt will completely control everyones healthcare and 20% of our economy!

Unfortunately, Sanders is being intellectually dishonest when he calls it "Medicare for All".

What he is after is pure Single Payer. A real "Medicare for All" plan would include the large Medicare Supplement/Medicare Advantage component that maintains free market competition and innovation. It could easily be modified in many ways to efficiently cover everyone while keeping skin in the game in the way of premiums and co-pays.

Sad to see him playing the standard partisan euphemism game. "Medicare for All" just SOUNDS good, but he knows better. He's not being honest.

Medicare does not pay for dental , hearing , and or vision now, except helps pay for medical conditions affecting the eyes.

Of course it is faulty; as mentioned above, more than this amount is already spent per year. Single payer would merely put the system on a humane basis and, in fact, save money. The U.S. pays much more per person for health care than France, which has a fine system.

The source is a Libertarian estimate, and thus suspect as a paper/study which began with the theme that a single payer system was too costly.

I'm not going to read the paper, but I do have a question for the author of the OP:

Q. Does the paper discuss on cost-deficits, or does it discuss cost-benefits

Or, why troll if you haven't read the entire study and can't answer this Q.
