All school districts in the U.S. are independent. The Feds will subsidize a DEI fraud for public schools, but they will not fund anything for a private Christian school. While public schools aren't required to take Federal money, I don't know of any who don't. All schools are as private as they want to be. They can cut the purse strings if the locals so desire.
