About that $600B investment deal with the guy who had Khashoggi murdered.

Because you folks elected a criminal.

In a court filing just before 10 p.m. Friday, Senior Assistant Special Counsels Molly Gaston and Thomas Windom alerted the judge in Trump’s latest criminal case — U.S. District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan — to a combative post Trump sent earlier in the day.

“If you go after me, I’m coming after you!” Trump wrote in all caps Friday afternoon on Truth Social, which is run by a media company he co-owns.

The prosecutors said Trump’s post raised concerns that he might improperly share evidence in the case on his social media account and they urged that he be ordered to keep any evidence prosecutors turn over to his defense team from public view.

There's a promise Dotard kept.
Straight from a whiners post. ⏫⏫⏫

Until it is reversed he is still a convicted criminal, the majority of highjackers on 9/11 were Saudis, yeah give them what they want Trump and his lapdog Elon
Or pardoned. He can pull a Biden and pardon from inside his family. Trump is part of it.

Saudi Crown Prince Is Held Responsible for Khashoggi Killing in U.S. Report

‘I like you too much’: Trump and Saudi crown prince bask in their friendship

The crowd applauded as Trump said, “He’s your greatest representative, greatest representative. And if I didn’t like him, I’d get out of here so fast. You know that, don’t you? He knows me well. I do — I like him a lot. I like him too much.”

Bin Salman sat beaming at the president, often placing his hand on his heart in a gesture of appreciation.

“That’s why we give so much, you know? Too much,” Trump said, smiling. “I like you too much.”

Another reason he likes MBS so much may be due to the $2B he gave to Prince Jared to invest. The guy trump said he was dropping sanctions on Syria for as a favor.

Trump Cites $600 Billion in Saudi Deals, but Real Figure Appears Lower
The White House on Tuesday said that President Trump, while in Saudi Arabia, had secured $600 billion in deals with the Saudi government and firms. But the details the White House provided were vague and totaled less than half that number.

And a closer look at the projects the administration provided shows several were already in the works before Mr. Trump took office.

The announcement was made just before Mr. Trump spoke to a gathering of business leaders at the U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum in Riyadh, where he said the only country hotter than the United States was Saudi Arabia.

“We are rocking,” he said. “The United States is the hottest country, with the exception of your country.”

The unfortunate thing about trump's dealing with ME leaders isn't just their dubious accuracy, or trump's gaslighting (“We are rocking,” he said. “The United States is the hottest country.......despite recording negative GDP growth in Q1), or cozying up to the murderer of a US citizen.

The unfortunate thing, given the recent business deals with ME countries benefitting trump financially, and of course that opulent plane, is the appearance he went to the ME more for himself than the country he represents. That he views the presidency as an opportunity to enhance his personal wealth, his lifelong ambition. That his interests are more his own than ours.

It's all about the U.S. foreign policy. The term 'outweigh' is often used in discussions of U.S. foreign policy to explain why certain actions are taken. :)

👉 The United States maintains a strong relationship with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) despite his alleged involvement in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, primarily due to strategic economic, military, and geopolitical interests.

Key reasons for the continued US-Saudi relationship:

Massive Investment and Economic Deals: During Donald Trump's second term, Saudi Arabia committed to investing $600 billion in the United States over four years, including $20 billion in energy infrastructure and artificial intelligence data centers. This investment deal is part of a broader economic partnership that benefits U.S. companies and aligns with Trump's focus on commerce and cultural exchanges in the Middle East2589.

Largest Arms Deal in History: The U.S. and Saudi Arabia agreed on a $142 billion arms sale, aimed at upgrading Saudi Arabia's military capabilities with equipment from over a dozen U.S. defense companies. This military partnership is seen as vital for U.S. strategic interests in the region, especially regarding countering Iran's influence and maintaining stability in the Gulf18.

Geopolitical and Security Interests: Saudi Arabia is a key regional ally in the Middle East. The U.S. values its cooperation on issues such as dismantling Iran's nuclear program, efforts to end conflicts like the Gaza war, and maintaining oil price stability. These shared security concerns often outweigh human rights considerations in U.S. foreign policy368.

Pragmatic Approach to Human Rights Issues: Although U.S. intelligence agencies implicated MBS in the Khashoggi murder, the U.S. government has granted him immunity due to his official role. President Trump publicly dismissed the idea of using U.S. policy to "dispense justice for [foreign leaders'] sins," emphasizing practical partnership over moral judgments810.

Historical Continuity: The U.S.-Saudi relationship has been a longstanding "bedrock of security and prosperity," maintained through multiple administrations. Trump's first foreign trip as president was to Saudi Arabia in 2017, signaling the importance placed on this alliance110.

In summary, the U.S. continues to maintain a close relationship with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman because the strategic economic investments, military cooperation, and geopolitical interests in the Middle East take precedence over the controversies surrounding his alleged involvement in Khashoggi's murder. This pragmatic approach reflects a prioritization of national interests and regional stability in U.S. foreign policy.

OK I am not exonerating Trump or anybody, but the reality is that almost all politicians murder people who get in the way between them and money, or would do that, if they had the power to. This is a very serious problem that goes beyond any single politician. I really feel that in our world, evil, murderous people literally rise to the very top in politics. Good people who are repulsed by the thought of having to murder anybody can never succeed in politics. We need to fight this, we need to change this. Evil people have an edge over good people, it has been this way ever since humans got out of the Ice Age and we no longer had to contend with the environment and instead we had to contend with other humans.
