People give their children over to the state incrementally without even realizing from jump...pre-natal even.

From certificates of birth to SSNs, to state schools, health system, institutions of all type, later licensure of all type.

People bind themselves to the state partially out of willingness and partially out of compulsion.

Ok what I don't understand is this.

Rhey say rich parents should trade kids with poor parents to create equity. But the rich kids that live with poor parents will then become poor and the poor kids become rich. So nothing has actually changed.you still have poor parents with a poor kid and rich parents with a rich kid.

But fuck that. If the poor people don't want to poor then they can chose to have more ambition in their life. Unless their ambition in life is to do as little as possible. I mean bill Cosby grew up a poor ass urban kid but didn't want to be so he did something about it.
